   Incredibly abrupt person who answered phone and took my initial enquiry. Considering the type of service they offer, and the clients reaching out to them, the first impression and contact is essential. Sadly I was left feeling I was an imposition. I asked if I could speak initially to a psychologist before booking and was told very curtly that Richard Bennet doesn't speak to people in advance as he's too busy with patients. Any form of talking therapy is a big commitment, a large step to take and the person making that step is in a vulnerable position. There are kind ways and means of managing expectations. This was not one of them. Irrespective of whether you're a gatekeeper or psychologist it's sad this needs spelling out.

   Richard Bennett is an exceptionally gifted clinical psychologist. He has delivered multiple training courses for me to Physiotherapists in the UK & Ireland on CBT and ACT and he rapidly established himself as the go to person for these course. We are also fortunate to have Richard and his team work with us at the Barefoot Yoga Studio in Harborne Birmingham. Skilled, sensitive clinicians who can help with a spectrum of concerns such as persistent pain, anxiety, stress, phobia , PTSD and relationship difficulties. If things are becomming difficult Richard and his team can either help or find someone who can. Brilliant people.

   I contacted and had an appointment with Dr Rich Bennett at Think Psychology as I was having some 'life problems' (to put things simply). Rich allowed me to explore openly, and confidentially, my situation and I came away with clarity and a plan in how to move my life in the direction I want it to go in. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this service.
