Been visiting this PI for some years. I choose to travel an extra 35 minutes to stay as it must have excellent organization and happy staff to still remain so very clean and cared for. One of the best!!!

I would recommend this Premier Inn. Room was spacious clean and tidy. Breakfast was a buffet choice including English cooked style and continental options. Food quality was good and tasty. Dinning area was spacious and very relaxing even though it was busy. Also the hotel was quiet which was surprising for a Saturday night. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Car parking is in a nearby multistorey and free. Overall had a very good stay. Thank you.

Room had filthy walls and failing decor and fittings. We booked a family room but we're giving a double bed and a sofa. Staff sorted in the end. Room has constant noise of people banging above. Not the best experience at all. Needs some serious change in staff and urgent redecoration.

Checked in around 4pm on self check in screen, helpful man told us how to find the multi storey car park. We parked car and went for a wander. At about 8.30pm we decided to go down to the bar for a drink, the restaurant was closed and no one was around. I pressed the buzzer on the desk and shortly after a man appeared from out of the office, he looked like he'd been dragged through a hedge backwards! The worst crumpled shirt I've ever seen. I asked him if the bar was open, he replied yes. I said there's no one there - he said I'll do it. Well you'd think I'd asked him to grow the apples and brew the cider himself as it was clearly far too much trouble for him to get us a couple of drinks. He really looked like he couldn't be arsed and was very abrupt and rude, almost to a point were I thought I was inconveniencing him. Maybe I had interrupted him in some way as shortly after he'd appeared, his colleague wandered out of the office after him. As we sat there drinking our cider two more guests came down to complain about the rubbish service, seems they'd asked for pillows and he obviously couldn't be arsed sorting that either. Worst Premier Inn I've stayed in, but convenient for Thorpe Park.

Stayed here for one night for a wedding at the beginning of August. Staff were very helpful and friendly. They gave good advice about parking and made the check-in process easy. The room was clean and as you’d expect for a premier inn. Breakfast was good and location was ideal for where we were going. For the price this was a great choice!

Pre pandemic I would have given Premier Inn a 4star but if all Premier Inns are like this one, then they have definitely dropped their standards. Beds are comfie, and showers are still okay, but the tap is another story. Service was fine as check-in was smooth. Would not stay here again. Dirty remote and mould on the window ledge.

A great welcome to the hotel by staff and reception staff. One hour free parking at the hotel to check-in, followed by free overnight parking in a new multi story car park just minutes away from the hotel. The room is a perfect Premier Inn room, very clean, comfortable and quiet. A great stay.

Room was spotless and bed was very comfortable. Excellent food on the Friday night and breakfast was amazing with so much choice. Friendly staff, definitely stay again.

Arrived for check in at 3pm as was told in the booking to be told the room wasn't ready and I would have to wait another hour, the waiting area was full of people it seemed also coupdn't check in from the time they were told, alongside this the café was not open so there was nothing to actually do while waiting. The staff didn't seem to care and I had to leave my bags and check in much later. Following this no one was available for checkout so I had to leave the keys on an empty desk to leave, the car park for the hotel is 2 streets away and a substantial walk away meaning the following morning I had to carry all of my luggage to the car park to leave after checking out. All in all not a bad room but not the best Premier Inn I have stayed in, service was a big let down and the issues with parking are off putting for any future visits.

Formal complaint incoming. Booked a nights stay here for Thursday 1st December as I had my Christmas Party locally and live out of the area and 40 miles from my home. I called the hotel and spoke to a member of staff, to say I would be checking in late and they said that’s absolutely fine and look forward to checking me in that evening. Fast forward 3 hours, to 11pm when I received 3 calls from Reception to say there was an error on the system and they had double booked my room, with no apologies and no offer to House me elsewhere, or even a refund. I had paid in full in advance of my stay, nearly 4 weeks ago. I was left in the middle of Ottershaw, with no accommodation, no where to stay, no car and at midnight it took me 3 hours trying to organise a taxi home and cost me £65. Absolutely appalling behaviour and customer service. I will be making a formal complaint to management and expect an apology and remuneration. What should have been a lovely evening, turned in to an absolute nightmare. Shocking.
