Tom and Fran are good hosts. They might need a word with house keeping as there were quite a few cobwebs. Maybe it was to add to the experience of staying in an Old Manor House. I had a few issues with my room but hey I was staying in Shepperton for under £100 per night so I over looked the issues and mentioned one on leaving. The place is full of old bits and pieces and at breakfast it was like being at a friend’s place. Thank you guys
We booked to stay here as our friends band was playing in a local pub. This place is amazing, full of history and charm. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are full of character, extremely clean and very comfortable. The bed was so cozy and made for a brilliant night sleep. The freshly cooked breakfast in the morning was delicious. Highly recommend.
Best bed I have ever slept in away from home! Breakfast freshly cooked and yummy. Both hosts couldn't have been nicer nor more helpful. Great place to stay for our last night in UK.
Perfect place for overnight stop when needed to be in the area. Lovely kind hostess who went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and our wishes were met. Included a gluten free full breakfast with zero notice as I forgot to ask!! Beautiful place with a genuinely homely feel.
Amazing stay! Warmest welcome from Tom and Fran and their adorable family. The room was clean and charming and the bed was so comfy! Great full English in the morning too. Can't recommend this B&B enough. We also went to a lovely pub just 5min drive away by the river as recommended by Tom and Fran.
A gorgeous place to stay, close to Heathrow airport yet a really quiet location - absolutely perfect. The room we stayed in was spotless, the exceedingly comfortable bed was huge, I'd say a super-king. Great tea and coffee making facilities, there was also a bottle of cold water and a bowl of ice which was a nice touch as it was over 30c outside. I understand the hosts, Tom and Fran took over the place about 4 or 5 years ago - what they've done so far is lovely and in keeping with the building's history, it's like stepping back in time with so many original features - absolutely wonderful!
What a fantastic place. So much history and wonderful hosts, lovely breakfast. One of my favourite places to stay. It's a work in progress, but so glad that they are putting in the work to retain and improve this magnificent building.
Friendly, accommodating owner and a charming, traditional B&B. Lovely garden to relax in too. Would stay again if I were in the area.
