   The staff were exceptional in helping me when I really needed it, and for that im truly thankful. The hotel has nice enough rooms for what you would expect at the price point including a fridge, cooking facilities, and a smart tv hooked up ready to go. The area is nice and the people seem friendly and helpful. There are lots of nice shops as well as the regulars aka Mac Donald’s costa etc.

   I am currently staying at this hotel due to being homeless through the council. I must say the rooms stink, carpets have major stains on them. You're better of carrying a mask when walking around the hotel

   Unless you are used to aeroplanes do not be prepared to sleep here. It was not 100% clean, I did complain and for a non fussed response, highly untidy and you can't even get in the shower without soaking the entire floor. It is at best an emergency stop gap if you have too long to wait to get to Heathrow. They do have parking and snacks and staff are friendly and helpful when hunted down

   Staff are very reliable and useful. But the hotel is very old and run down place. Rooms are full of mice, roaches, some rooms have bed bugs. The mice are regular visitor at nights, be sure to bring mouse traps with you. The pest control guy comes regular, but there is no use, his method is useless. Stay away at all cost, unless you lost your home and this place is been arranged by your council. Then no choice but to carry on like a zombie. I called to Wandsworth council about mice issue, but they keep telling me it's mice season. And I should be taking responsibility for this. What a lot of crap. Avoid at all cost if you have choice, pick anywhere else but Channins Hounslow Hotel. Don't say you not been warned...

   I give it a 2 stars only because the staff deserve 10 stars. They are all lovely and over worked. I would give the overall hotel minus 5 if possible. It is repulsive. It's infested with mice and rats and mold. It needs a proper fumigation or knocked down. It also has horrible filthy carpets and mattresses. It should be condemned. The owners are slum lords and slave drivers. I was there over 6 months. I tried to be positive but it's difficult when there are rats and mice in every room I know of and outside. Mold on walls and in drains.

   What you see is what you get. Clean rooms, clean sheets. En suite is clean. Staff listen to you when you speak to them and are kind. I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here but if your looking for a bed for a night or two then it's not all that bad. Car park is safe, CCTV all over the property so I feel safe here.
