My wife and l would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to Will our coach driver and Christine our tour manager for making our recent Swiss Mountain Railway Adventure with GB Tours so enjoyable . They provided an excellent service through out the holiday it was nice to see such a professional service.
Amazed GB tours still using Christmas hotel in Street as so many complaints after the year we stayed. The coach driver said the rooms and bedding were disgusting. Woodhead 3 star is an exaggeration. Nothing in Street worth seeing. Staff were combating the state of the hotel and management didn't understand pillow liners or mattress covers. Damp inside the crittal windows and fragile electric fitments. GB tours needed to rethink and sad they haven't. Should do better. We haven't travelled with them since and have travelled widely with others. Sad.
On behalf of Jane - we went on the Yorkshire Dale's trip, staying at Grange over Sands. All really well organised and positive experience, would love to go again! Bus driver was great; well informed, helpful and an excellent driver ! Lovely group of people, all very kind and inclusive to single travellers.
We went to Liverpool and stopped in the Radisson Blu hotel. It was a great weekend. Huw, our driver, being from Liverpool himself was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We also had an unexpected Magical Mystery Tour with Maria, which was brilliant. The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet. A thoroughly enjoyable weekend.
We’ve used GB Tours many times and usually we have no complaints, but this was by far the worst holiday we’ve had with them. The Ocean View Hotel was filthy, badly run, and completely below standard. Dirty cutlery, poor food, basics like towels and plates running out, and “leisure facilities” so neglected they had fire doors dumped in the pool room. No management was ever seen, and complaints were laughed off. To make matters worse, GB Tours ignored our email after the trip — no apology, no acknowledgement. This was a shambles from start to finish.
We’re had a great time in the isle of Mann the Rutland Hotel was fantastic the rooms were spacious and extremely comfortable and the food was delicious with choices to suit everyone. The coach driver was informative and we had a great time roaming over the island. 10*
Just back from the Chester/Liverpool overnight trip. V enjoyable and great value for money. Special thanks to the Welsh Wizard Gavin who made our trip just extra special. His knowledge of Liverpool was second to none! Thanks from Joy and Lucy Ford!
My friend and I have just returned from a trip with GB TOURS to Gunton Hall Suffolk with our very courteous and helpful driver Fred. Pleasantly surprised with the warm and comfortable chalet, excellent entertainment and great choice of food. We've had a fabulous time, made better with the charming, pleasant staff. Fantastic value for money.
Just returned from a 5 day trip to Isle of Man. Our driver Gordon was a very pleasant and helpful driver, went out of his way in many occasions, even came to check in with us on his day off! Have used GB Tours twice now and would have no hesitation in recommending.
Went to Hereford and Wye Valley 6/9/2021 for five days with GB Tours.Justin was our Driver and would hope to go on another break with him as Driver.Great sense of humour and we had a super few days with him. The trips were great and we had a really friendly bunch of people,would hope to meet up with some of them again. Thankyou Justin and GB Tours.
