Just popped in for a quick hot chocolate in a cold evening. Lovely reception from the staff. Quick, friendly service. Would recommend!

Had a lovely one night stay, when visiting Croydon from Wales for a family celebration. Service was 5 star, us and the dogs could not have been made more welcome. Full English in the morning was excellent, and plenty of choice. And again dogs able to join us for breakfast, which is always nice, not having to put them elsewhere. Great location, so convenient, no noise, everything we could have asked for. Hopefully we will be back. Nice to know we have somewhere to go, that is so good, and we will be welcome.

We attended a wedding there and stayed overnight. The rooms were clean but need updating. The staff were very helpful and would do everything to make us feel comfortable. The location was very easy to get to and the grounds were beautiful, especially for spending time with other guests and taking photographs on this special day. Overall the quality of the above is very good.

I'm really sorry to give this a low rating. I’m sure when Cloudsdon Manor Hotel was originally built in 1850, it was beautiful, but today it feels stuck in the past. The hotel claims to have been refurbished, but I’m not sure which parts. It looks old-fashioned, quaint in a way that feels a bit uncomfortable. The floors are uneven, and much of the furniture seems original, including a trouser press—so you can imagine just how antique it is. The rooms are wide and the public areas spacious, but overall it could really use some updating. The bathroom was quirky too: if the light turned on, the entrance light sometimes switched off. The window wouldn’t close properly and the room just seemed to breathe old dust and damp air. It wasn’t dirty, just very much like a traditional countryside 2–3 star hotel. The staff were super friendly, and the breakfast wasn’t bad, but the pizza was....... though I suspect the oil they use for frying and cooking hasn’t changed since 1850! Prices might be reasonable, but if you drive a bit further, there are options available.

Went there on a golf trip. At 6.39am on Sunday Morning a lorry reversed under our bed room window(room 117) with reversing alarm on and then loaded Laundry waking us up I did mention this to The lady on reception who just laughed and said oh well. Rooms are dated mould around bath The toilet cistern is very slow to fill. Food was OK. Golf course fairways were poor tee boxes awful. Been here before it was much better.

I had the pleasure of staying at Coulsdon Manor Hotel recently, and I wanted to share my positive review. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The decor was modern and stylish, and the amenities were fantastic. I especially loved the breakfast buffet, which had a huge selection of delicious food. Everything was very clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend Coulsdon Manor Hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the area!

We had a golf break deal for 8 of us. Although the property is in need of some updating we found it to be good value for money. In particular the staff were all friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the food was good. No complaints given the price. We enjoyed our 2 rounds of golf but because of the time of year it was a bit muddy underfoot. Not the best course we have played on but enjoyable nevertheless and lovely parkland setting. Dinner , bed, breakfast plus 2 rounds of golf - great value !

Staff were friendly and accommodated 11pm arrival. Bed was comfy, location is quiet. Shower has consistent temperature and good water pressure. Bathroom cleanliness was good, and cleaners gave us a friendly greeting which was appreciated. Grand building but it is dated (maybe 80s decor), YPFWYG. Lovely and well kept grounds, looks like a great place for a round of golf. Would stay again, no complaints.

The hotel was very clean, although a little dated with it’s room decor- particularly the bathrooms. The food was lovely and staff were very accommodating. Some of the golfers were exceptionally rude however and shouted abuse at me and my father when walking down the road to my Grandmothers funeral. After having waited for one of 7 golfers to tee off on a hole which goes over the road and then waited some more for one of the players to set up his ball and adjust this multiple times, we took the chance to quickly walk as he bent down again and was shouted at by all 7 of them. There were no signs expressing the rules of having to wait for all 7 ( which is not right anyway) to play, which is one of the things being shouted at us, along with the threats of ‘we will let you off this time, but next time will be a different matter!’ And as you can imagine, this was not what we needed at the beginning of an already difficult day.

Had an overnight stay here. Staff were all helpful and friendly. The room was too hot as there is no air conditioning. Room was fairly clean, bed had some staining on the side, and the picture on the wall had water damage. Overall just a bit tired looking, in need of a bit of money spent on sorting the basics out. But it wouldn’t put me off staying there again if I needed to.
