Very bad "hotel"!!! Everything is broken (beds, chauffage, windows, toilet ...), no service, bad breakfast (take everything yourself). Car you cannot park because owners are in front of the door. Definitely do not book here!!!

We had our summer wrap up on the 03/9/22 @ this venue, The location and the garden is good too with friendly stuff their customer service is outstanding we will always come back a very summer to use the garden for our events, Thanks alot for allowing us around...Simon wizzy
For £40 a night it's brilliant. Door locks, bedding is clean and the breakfast is adequate. You probably wouldn't take your Mum though.

I am not sure it is up to a 2 star hotel. The most annoying thing is that the toilets are upstairs. You would have to climb up to ease yourself. I really think this can be better. There is provision for breakfast at the lounge area, this is commendable.
I met a receptionist called Flora. She was extremely rude to me and I am still wondering why. I went in to check in for 5 days and I stood there for over 30mins, waiting for her to finish talking on the phone. It didn't sound like a business call, I would understand but it was probably her husband/ someone outside work with the language she was using. After she finished,there was no communication. She only gave me a sign to follow her. I did and she gave me a room. I thought that was rude. I left the hotel to get another room for the night. I came back the following morning to ask for a refund for the remaining days cos i wasnt staying. Flora was extremely rude and asked me to go cos there was no manager around and I was going to hear from her in 5-7 working days. It's thursday today and nobody from the hotel is replying to my emails. The room was neat though but Flora delivered the worse customer service and up to now, I am still waiting for refund of £120 from cedar house hotel.
Not bad, nothing special. Staff were helpful enough. Free breakfast included but perhaps slightly misleading as you wont get the usual Full English Breakfast, but a bit of toast, cereal and fruit. Maybe this is a London thing? Room was alright, like a lot of other places it could do with a freshen up for the 21st century but it did the job. For the price its okay.
