   I have just returned from a absolute amazing adventure doing the Golden Triangle India. Our Tour Guide YP Singh was the one though who made it trip of a lifetime!! His knowledge and expertise of his country was above and beyond recognition. YP made it fun and interesting and added his own personal touches. Always makes sure you have all information each day and makes sure you are kept safe in very busy places. Top man Distant Journeys are very lucky to have him on their team.Dahram coach driver needs a medal for his expert driving and never any trouble taking us to places to where we wanted to go.Milap co pilot went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after during our journeys. Fully recommend this tour.

   Highly recommend this tour company. We have just returned from the 22-day tour of Vietnam and Cambodia. The tour guides were excellent, the hotels first-class and the food delicious. However, what sets this tour apart was the detail. Many tour operators follow the route from Hanoi down to the Mekong etc, but we were regularly treated to hidden extras that will linger long in the memory. From being served tea by a member of the royal household in her humble home, to drifting in a dragon gondola at sunset in the moat of Angkor Thom, you never quite knew what delights lay ahead. Fabulous holiday!

   Used Distant Journeys for an escorted tour of the Golden Triangle, India. The level of service and support is unparalleled. From support and advice from the office, the quality of the tour and standard of hotels was terrific. Our local guide who was with us for the whole trip was great, with excellent knowledge and a friendly manner. The phone app also keeps you updated before and during your trip. This is how holidays should be.

   This is a brief review of the Distant Journeys 28 day "Grand Tour of India with Kerala Beach Extension" that we returned from in November 2024. The trip was fantastic and ran without a hitch - a wonderful Itinerary packed with unforgettable sights, scenes and history, leaving us with memories to treasure for a lifetime. Excellent information and customer service provided by Distant Journeys prior to our Grand Tour of India with Kerala extension. I have uploaded a selection of 50 photos with this review to give you an idea of a few of the things we saw and what to expect, but you need to visit to truly experience what can only be described as a trip of a lifetime. I can highly recommend this tour for a true taste of India.

   My wife and I recently returned from Distant Journeys Golden Triangle & Ranthambore tour of Northern India - an experience we will never forget for all the right reasons! Booking the tour was a breeze with very helpful and knowledgeable staff based here in UK. Always readily available at the end of the phone to answer queries on any issue from visas to health matters. We had smooth flights with Virgin Atlantic from Heathrow and we were met in Delhi by our tour guide AJ who was totally amazing thoughout the whole trip. All the hotels were first class and could not be faulted, very smart, spotlessly clean and the food excellent with plenty of choice. All had swimming pools. Needless to say the Taj Mahal was probably the highlight, but one of many on the trip. We even managed to get within 15 meters of two young tigers. All in all a very memorable experience at an exceptional price!

Absolutely first class, a brilliant guide, Arun, and so well organised from start to finish. Before that we did Australia and India’s Golden triangle. All great.    We have recently returned from the very best of Australia tour with extra nights in Singapore on the outbound journey and 5 nights Bali/2 nights Dubai on the return home. All the add on’s were booked by Distant Journey. This was the the first tour to Australia since the pandemic for Distant Journeys. This trip was cancelled from October 2020, was the first time of doing a guided tour like this, and truly did not disappoint. We received a full refund of deposit within 3 hours when the original trip was cancelled which to me says a lot about a company From the original booking in 2019 until our departure the staff had kept up informed about progress which was extremely helpful. They are very knowledgeable. The trip itself exceeded our expectations, especially the Australia part, and that had a lot to do with our tour guide James. When you are having to meet at silly hours of the morning to catch a flight on a regular basis or sitting on a coach for long stretches you need someone who can “pitch it right” with the humour and chat etc and he certainly did that in abundance. As the tour progressed you also realised what fantastic value for money it was with all the inclusions. The group got on extremely well (36 in total) and very respectful of being punctual which is crucial. Yes it’s a gruelling schedule, but you are aware of that prior to booking plus is necessary in order to make the most of your time in Australia. We had already booked our next trip with the company to Vietnam and Cambodia for next year prior to this trip which I cannot wait to do. I absolutely would have no hesitation in recommending Distant Journeys to anyone and aim to work my way through the other tours.

   We booked the journey through India tour departure date 7 March 2020 as a fiftieth birthday present for my other half Distant journeys were incredibly professional and always at the end of the phone with any queries, when the COVID -19 pandemic struck they got us home as soon as possible and refunded any unused parts of our tour along with additional vouchers to put towards a future holiday. Their customer service is great and they have an incredible knowledge of the areas we visited we will not hesitate to use them again
