Loved every minute of this Beatles tour and that includes getting soaked and chilled (that'll teach us to come in November). We think we know Beatles but Ian was a mine of lore and memories and new slants on old beliefs and deepening our understanding of the music. Can't recommend this highly enough.

What an awesome tour with Mad day Out’s owner Ian! We did the Gretsch tour . It was everything John, Paul,George and Ringo. Ian was a wealth of Beatles knowledge. The tour came well recommended from Friends who did it and we recommend it too! 5+ stars

My wife and myself had a bespoke tour of Liverpool today and it was just fantastic. Our guide Garreth went above and beyond and his depth of knowledge is incredible and he's funny too. We can't recommend enough

Getting the tour with Ian was like riding with the 5th Beatle. His knowledge and passion was absolutely amazing. As a musician who grew up listening to and admiring the Beatles this tour was definitely a highlight of my trip to the UK. This was more than just a fan tour, it was educational and insightful as well. I could not recommend more! Cheers Ian!!

What a brilliant way to see Liverpool and learn about The Beatles! The taxi is funky and fun! Ian is so knowledgeable and full of fascinating background stories and anecdotes that really bring the musicians alive! We laughed, we cried, we reminisced and sang along to the songs we all know so well! Thank you, Ian, for a fabulous afternoon and for such a memorable experience!

We had a fantastic tour with Ian yesterday. I was a student in Liverpool in the 60s when the Beatles were at their height . It was so good to see places I used to be familiar with and hear Ian's expert knowledge, it was like putting the pieces of an unfinished jigsaw together. We both thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience -definitely the best day out! Thank you Ian.

My husband and I had the most wonderful time with Ian!! Everything was phenomenal, don't know where to begin. He was accommodating with our time and pickup location, he was there even a bit earlier than scheduled. The zero emissions cab is so well kept and lovely. Absolutely loved how he played songs as we were going to/from a location that it coincided with. You can feel and tell he is genuinely passionate and knowledgeable about The Beatles and his delivery of information is wonderful. Was not expecting all the great photo angles he took of us at the sites!! Did the three hour tour but if we are ever in town again we will definitely do the longer one. You cannot go wrong booking him to give you the inside scoop on the lives of the band in their hometown. Thank you for making our time in Liverpool a great one.

Step back in time with one of the biggest fans in the World - Ian your personal driver of Mad-day out Beatles tour. You will visit all the major historic land marks and Ian’s personal running commentary is priceless, what a fount of knowledge. There is comfortable luxury in the Electric cab and Ian ensures you have toilet and drink breaks. The cab is sanitized before your trip and there are appropriate COVID measures. Plenty of photo opportunities available and safety is Ian’s priority. It seems like everyone in town knows Ian, which is understandable as he is a local. Being a musician himself Ian knows music history so your ride is fabulously engaging. Don’t be disappointed, book this trip in advance.

Ian is a Beatles genius: the whole experience was like a performance. He’s a great storyteller and there was nothing he didn’t know. We loved every minute and the Hofner tour (4 hours) was worth every penny (lane). Don’t miss it.

Last week my husband and I enjoyed the 3 hour Rickenbacker Tour. 5 Stars without any doubt! Ian really enjoys his work and is a perfect storyteller, whether it's about the youth of the lads, their performances or their songs. He shows you all Beatles related places throughout Liverpool, I expect more than you get to see in a common tour. Beside, Ian is a nice person and client oriented. My husband was really impressed. Highly recommended!
