I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with Peak Pharmacy. I attended the pharmacy today after a GP appointment for my two unwell children (9 months and 4 years old) to collect their prescribed antibiotics. Due to their ill health, I left them in my car parked outside on the yellow lines hoping I’d be in and out, rather than bring two sick and distressed children inside. When I arrived, I was the only patient. The receptionist offered no greeting or courtesy just a cold, dismissive “you okay?” with no eye contact. Other customers were treated the same. Despite being the only patient, I waited around 30 minutes for the prescriptions. When I politely asked if the pharmacist could expedite the medication because my children were in the car, I was rudely told they were busy and that I and my children “needed to be patient.” This is completely unacceptable when dealing with a 9 month old baby and a 4 year old. After leaving, I called the pharmacy to request the complaints procedure, the pharmacist’s GPhC registration number, the owner’s name, and the receptionist’s name. I was on hold for 38 minutes, and when someone finally answered, I was told the pharmacist was “having her lunch” and asked to call back. I explained I could not call back after waiting 38 minutes, but I was treated dismissively and given contradictory excuses. To make matters worse, there was a serious safety issue with the medications. Although the bottles themselves had labels, each bottle was placed in the wrong outer box. The pharmacist did not explain the different strengths of the medications at all. I was left unsure whether I could safely give the antibiotics to my children. When I contacted the pharmacy about this, I was told I could have messed with the boxes myself and that I “must have a problem with the pharmacy,” which is completely unacceptable. This branch shows a total lack of professionalism, compassion, and attention to patient safety. Staff are rude, dismissive, and fail to provide basic customer service. The delays, lack of communication, and mishandling of medications for young children are shocking. I strongly caution others to be extremely careful using this pharmacy, and I expect the management to take these issues seriously and address them immediately

Waiting time for medication come from hub is taking to long and service standards are hit or miss been coming for 6+years and the last 12 months had nothing but problems not happy

Will be hesitant to use this pharmacy again, despite the convenience of its location. The pharmacist came across as patronising and judgemental in his tone, and had little discretion when speaking to me in front of his colleagues.

I arrived as I received a message informing myself that the prescription was ready only to find that they close every day for lunch and sometime for training. The website should state when it closes as a notice on the door is not enough for those that have made the journey there.

since Peak have taken over Tims, Brookmill, the service is awful. 3 times have received a msg saying order ready and yet when I went to pick up, I could only get part of the order, twice had to go back and once had to travel to Asda to complete. Plus add to the fact that the phone just cuts you off after a msg saying wait and also now stretching the pickup time from 2 days to 5!! Why 5 it's literally next door to the doctors, the delivery van comes everyday and prescriptions are done electronically - truly shocking

Turned up at 5.45 pm and it was closed. Update your website and times as I made a wasted journey I can ill afford to do!

Brilliant staff face to face inside the pharmacy. Don't try and ring them though. They NEVER answer the phone. This is very infuriating when you are liaising between surgery and them. Get your act together

It a good chemist they have nice staff and vulnerable people can get there medication home delivered. They are also set up for instant prescriptions straight from the doctors to the chemist so makes it a lot easier if your in a rush for medication. At the moment you do have to queue outside because of covid there is a one at a time plan in place to keep us all safe but the wait is never to long before you can go in. You can also call ahead to check if your medication is ready to save any wasted time. All in all a good little chemist.

Never answer the phone, it either rings off or is engaged. Spoke with the staff and also complained several times to the chemist manager to no avail. Frustrated customer
