   9.50pm on Sunday just come up from London and didn’t stop at Peterborough as usual as time pressing. Stopped at Doncaster and Burger King was deserted , closed we thought. Not had a burger for 18 years, the last was at Thoresby roundabout. We shouted and the manageress appeared , everything cooked to order! Unheard of A whopper and chicken Royale with a side of onion rings . Everything 9/10 The burger was warm not hot hence 9 . The onion rings? Best I’ve ever had. Service 10/10. Only 3 in the building. I worked for KFC for 18 years Yorkshire and Lincolnshire plus a few McDonald’s. I appreciate good food and service

   Waiting about 26 minutes for a couple of meals. One woman was building the orders and despite there being a fair few on the board did not move faster than a slug at any point. Fast food is not the game here if that what you are looking for. When we did get the food after a really long wait the food was really nice as well as being hot. I would suggest other staff assist the slug with building people's orders.

   In the services at the junction of m18 and m180. Plenty of parking for the services but space inside the services is very limited so suggest to take away when it is busy. Facilities are disabled accessible.

   Pulled in here yesterday evening. Ordered on the screen board which was fine, ordered take out, not eat in. No receipt produced by the machine. Luckily I remembered my order number. I chose a double cheese burger, large & the supersized for an extra 50p. Large fries & large strawberry milkshake. I had to wait about 20 minutes which wasn't too bad considering it was in the early evening and there were quite a few customers. When my order came up I grabbed it and walked. When I got to my car and opened the bag I couldn't believe the small size of the double cheese burger and to think I supersized too. Seriously it was a 4 bites and gone. The quality was disgusting, it wasn't hot. I have used other Burger Kings in the past and the food has always been good. This services outlet is part of the Burger King chain so the quality etc should be identical to any other. Why is this not the case? There is no excuse. The prices are the same, I'm paying for below 3rd rate food as far as that burger was concerned. I won't go here again.

   I saw a prettier car crash on the M18, worst 'fast' food experience I've had at a service station. Firstly I had to wait 40 mins from placing my order to receive my luke warm cheeseburger and fries, without the spicy mayo that I ordered. Machine was not printing receipts, luckily I saw and remembered my order number. Staff were somewhere in between 'not entirely unpleasant' and apathetic and saw one of them touch the bin and immediately grab fries out of the frier and then hand out orders to customers without even thinking about washing his hands. Avoid like the plague

   Overall the food is ok. The chips are by far the best fast food chips. It's a sham new the burger buns are so dry. They must freeze them and thaw then on a hot surface.
