    This place had been recommended by someone but it was one of the worst experiences one of my colleague has had to go through because of this company. She’s had to wait 5 months to get a therapist and 2 times she has gone, they’ve got the wrong therapist. How can you mess up like this after waiting such a long time only to be told that you’ll have to another 5 months for another therapist. She left in frustration and on the way back she was in tears.

    This place, the Ascend team in particular, have saved my life. Regular, long term appointments, EMDR sessions, I feel heard, validated and understood. I have NEVER had therapy which has offered the long term support which had enabled us to unravel deep rooted issues rather than surface level in 6-7 sessions.

    I went back into trying therapy again, had two sessions, on the second session my therapist asked me if I’m sure I’m ready for therapy which is ridiculous because why else would you go to therapy if you didn’t need the help… the third I had to cancel it because I was ill, which I let my therapist know through her email address and asked if we could reschedule. I’ve not heard anything back from her or the company not even a single letter to let me know if she’s rearranged it or dismissed me from the place. This is why people don’t get the help because no one cares enough to just check in to see if you’re okay not even the professionals that supposed to be the ones to do so.

    My friend went along today for a counselling session, the building was completely empty. Not a person in site! Then when she tried to call to ask what was going on, no one answered the phone. She only had her letter from them last week and now she is even more of a state. Well done.
