McCanns pharmacy is the best. They are so helpful to me and understanding. They know all the regulars and are like part of the family. Even though I have support with my staff they always ensure I am included and understand what is going on with my medication and prescriptions
Do NOT go to this chemist!! It's unbelievable!!!! I came to get my prescription and they missed some items because they didn't have any of what I needed in, told me to come back for them tomorrow when the delivery comes. I went back the next day, they told me the items I came back for were never on my prescription and i need to talk to my doctor!! I did, and doctor confirmed I'm prescribed them. I went back for the 3rd time, and again they told me to talk to the doctor. I called the doctor and told him to speak with the chemist for himself, the chemist then took my phone into the back and told my doctor I'd already been given the medication!!!! I asked the chemist why did you say that you gave them to me when you know it's not true?They didn't have any answers, I got upset and tried to understand why, but they started laughing at me and just told me again to speak to the doctor. They were so dismissive to me. After this, I moved chemist. I'm still confused and upset, and don't understand why this happened. I went without medication for longer than I should, and I could've gotten seriously ill. Whenever I've been here, they are always turning people away and saying they don't have their medication in, or the customers leave because it takes 10 - 20 minutes to be served!!! In the past I've always had to come back twice to get my full prescription because they never have the items in, but this time for some reason I'll never know, they decided not to give me my medication that i was prescribed. Horrible, frustrating experience!!!
Do not go to this chemist. Absolutely horrific. You will never ever get your medication on time. Ordered mine on the 31st it’s the 11th tofay and told me they don’t have it but when I called my gp practice. They said they definitely sent it over for me to come back in and the man offer me half my medication!! Horrific mate.
A while ago I left my regular chemist due to constant wrong prescriptions and rude staff.I was recommended to sk chemist They are very good . I have my prescriptions delivered and have never had a problem, the driver is really nice and helpful, if you phone up the staff are very polite and helpful and if anything is out of stock they will try and get if for you , definitely worth 5 stars and will recommend
Brilliant place, never had a problem with them, they do my prescriptions and drop off for me, and also have offered to help me with a other item i might need.
The only issue usually is they have to order things in as it’s a small shop however the elder woman with white hair has had a sour attitude too many times and today didn’t want to simply apologise for making me ask for me meds 3 times in a day after arguing bc she didn’t bother to do her job properly. Hard to give respect to someone playing a lazy god in a chemist
All the staff members are lovely and helpful. The only problem with this pharmacy is that on several occasions, staff have left and closed the shop as early as 15 before closing (5:45) which means those who don't finish work until 5:30pm, cannot get there in time to get whatever they need
A tiny chemist that brings back old school personalised service. It's a place with friendly staff that know you and know your unique needs.
