This is not targeting the people working at the pharmacy as they do there best but Asda need to hire more people as its so incredibly slow but its the only pharmacy in the area that is open before work, after work and the weekend.
Great staff, great service, ignore the one star reviews from the miseries who couldn’t get their Happy pills. Been using this Pharmacy for years, never had a single significant problem, occasional shortage or out of stock issue, but does that merit a poor score, get over yourself!
01/072025 The assistant (blond lady) who served me was brilliant. She recommended medication, one of which was new to me. She also showed me where about in the store it was kept.
All staff are consistently helpful and informative. Only ever had excellent service here, even when they have been super busy.
This review is not aimed at the staff who are lovely and extremely patient. Unfortunately something is going on with their supply chain and it's causing a huge amount of medicine not being stocked. Because they are so busy it takes a good 15 min to tell you. You then have to go to another pharmacy and queue up again. This has happened at least 4 times this year. Something needs to change or they are going to lose more and more customers. At the moment avoid if you can.

I have my prescriptions sent here from my GP. It can be up to 23 items in any month. I have been tonight - the pharmacy is supposed to be open till 10.00pm. I walked in - pharmacy is closed. Notice says Due to unforeseen circumstances the pharmacy will be closed for the rest of the day. This is totally unacceptable. I have two diabetic injections every day - and because of the heat I have been unable to go out and so my supply has lessened. I went tonight because I need my injections tonight and tomorrow. So what am I supposed to do? I’ll be changing my pharmacy as of Monday
Staff always personable and helpful, and the opening hours and convenience are a bonus. Work quick to fill our prescriptions. Can't fault them.
Terrible service and terrible lady pharmacist. I called the 111 service because I had run out of my medication and after following the 111 stric procedures I was given this pharmacists number to call to get me meds. The rude lady who answered my call seemed to be arguing with her partner in the background. I heard a lot of raised voices in a language I dont understand. I was asked what I needed and then asked can’t I have an over the counter product instead. Silly question why would I get an over the counter product when I need a prescription for the medication I have. It is my opinion that the lady was so rude because I don’t use this chemist to get my prescription usually. I recommend people use Carringtons on rake lane, excellent and professional service.
