   Absolutely appalling. If only I had the opportunity to rate their food, then I might be able to give more than 1 star. But even the 1 star was not earned by this place. We ordered through Uber Eats, and updates were incredibly slow, the shop had the audacity to accept our order, and then update as On it’s way - we sat in ages and waited, called for updates. No answer. All made sense when we drove up, to find the place closed. All lights off. There was never going to be a delivery, yet they had the cheek to accept this, take our money and have us waiting almost 2 hours with no option to cancel without being charged. I wouldn’t usually rate anywhere so poorly publicly, but this type of robbery is abysmal and so feel that it is only fair, and more than valid that I do so. I will not trust this place to order again and think people should order from here with caution.

   Appalling service, ordered on line at 9 o'clock pm. Established delivery time was 9.20 to 9.50pm Time now 10.30pm no sign of my order and I have tried phoning and got no response... Added note. Did not receive my take away on Saturday. Went to Chicken Cottage Morley as a final try to collect my order at 10.45pm to find the location in total darkness. Today it is now Monday. Since Saturday night I have been to the shop two more time both times the shop is still in total darkness. Can anybody tell me the reason for this? I am still owed over £30 that I paid online for my order. I would suggest that if you are thinking of ordering online at the moment I would say DON'T.

   I can’t remember the kids name honestly he went over & beyond. I called my order in & the staff member from the first shift did pass my order request on to him so he was stuck & did the best to sort my order as I was in a rush.

   I've been ordering from chicken Cottage for years. Unlike other takeaways where it can be hit and miss, the taste is consistent and very nice. Delivery has always been on time and food arrives hot. I usually get the chicken wings meal. The wings are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Fries are also perfectly seasoned. Highly recommended

   I had a take away Chicken cottage and had a truly disappointing experience. The chicken was excessively salty, to the point where it was barely edible. Every bite was overwhelmed by an overpowering saltiness that masked any potential flavor the chicken might have had. Unfortunately, this left the meal unenjoyable and a waste of money.

   Ordered food to be delivered & it still hadnt arrived after 50 minutes. Rang them to be told it'll be another 30 minutes, so I had to cancel it. Joke service, won't be ordering again.

   We have ordered plain chicken burger for my niece Too spicy and he couldn't eat it called the shop the refused to replace it for a plain or give our money back awful customer service! If the food comes spicy they should advertise spicy food and mention to customers!
