Went to collect my prescription Friday and pharmacist was very rude. GP had told me that it was ready to collect and she replied if the gp says it’s ready doesn’t mean it is. So she then said it will be ready Saturday. Brother went to collect for me this morning and said sorry I’ve got 40 boxes to sort through it’s not ready when she said it would be. Ordered the prescription Tuesday not very happy with the customer service

Went to collect my prescription and was told they didn't have it. I took my owing note in, again very rudely told someone had taken it. Now this medication is methotrexate and A) is vital to take every 7 days. B) highly toxic and C) Expensive! It can kill you if you overdose so you have to have bloods done regularly so you can imagine my doctor being quite perplexed when I had to get another script. Husband went to get the new prescription and low and behold he was given 8 boxes. Ridiculous oversight

2.5 Stars because.... The lady (not tall with blonde hair) who I see most often is so helpful, friendly, empathetic, professional and utterly kind; without Her the pharmacy in Birkdale village would have zero stars. I won't describe one of the other members of staff due to my unwillingness to embarrass myself, however I will say that in all of my life I have never known such absolute horrid service and mannerisms to match. Honestly if I hadn't seen the look on her face so often I would say that she was suffering from a serious case of indigestion. As for the other staff, particularly a permanent pharmacist, I cannot review them as I'm yet to see one. As far as I know the pharmacists they have must be locums which is poor for a local pharmacy surrounded by an aging society.

It's a pharmacy, it serves it's purpose, well stocked and offers a text message service to tell you when your medications are ready to pick up.. can't really fault it. I've never had any issues with the staff there, I've always been polite and well mannered, therefore received the same polite response back from the staff there, I don't see any issues.

Monty Python, or should I say Little Britain level of service. Honestly!! Five members of staff all chatting together behind the counter, not working, completely ignoring the ever increasing queue of customers, not even making eye-contact. Left standing there, completely ignored until I shouted for assistance after about 20 minutes. Eventually was served after what felt like an eternity. Finally arrived home, only to find a box of medication missing. Believe me - not the first time!

Changed from this chemist. It would take up to 10 days to dispense my medication. I have been left without medication o. A number of occasions. When questioned to why……told either not received from their hub or not got enough staff to unpack medication received from this flippin hub. Sorry not good enough. Think the current system needs reviewing.

This Pharmacy has fully utilised the Covid 'pandemic' to cover up their abysmal customer service, you can't pick a prescription up between 1 and 2, prime time for those working, you have to wait in the cold to get in the place until the staff have finished their conversations, and when you get in you are often told' sorry it's not ready'. I'm definately moving chemist's after calling twice today and it's still not read.
