   Whilst on holiday I had the unfortunate experience of being bitten on my ankle by an insect. In the following days my ankle became extremely swollen and very itchy, oozing a clear form of discharge. Having tried different NHS services, I was advised to see the Pharmacist at Caerwys Pharmacy. I rang them and was given an appointment within 30 minutes. Upon attending my appointment I was greeted by Caroline the Pharmacist. Once ushered into the consultation room she thoroughly examined my injury, took an extensive history of my medical health, plus existing medical conditions. She then prescribed and dispensed a course of antibiotics, antihistamines tablets, and a steroid cream to apply. Caroline was extremely professional yet friendly and caring.    Ever since the new take over it’s has been awful getting my prescriptions. The previous pharmacist was absolutely lovely and cared for his patients, it’s seems these new people don’t really bother. I won’t be going back to that pharmacy again. What a shame as it was easy to nip in and out.
