Dropped rates to ridiculous levels if you do not monitor. Avoid unless prepared to check on a monthly basis and move money if interest drops well below market. I moved my money to a building society that does not tend to suddenly drop rates hoping that you do not notice / do not move money.

Was enquiring about a car finance with a separate company who directed me to Paragon and just wanted to see what the interest rates were before purchasing. They ended up carrying at a hard search on my account when I hadn’t even agreed to the purchase and hadn’t agreed to the search and this has now affected my credit score. You can find out a finance interest rate at any other company without carrying out a hard search. These are cowboys, avoid.

1 stars is being too generous. My savings account is being held hostage by Paragon due to their own systems inability to process a change of address, combined with their staffs inability to listen to details being presented to them, opting each time to resort to a cookie cutter reply as to why I'm not permitted to access my own savings account. If you're an average Joe looking to make the best of higher interest rates on non High Street banks, I cannot stress enough that you should seek a different provider for your own sake of mind. I'm currently having to seek the Financial Ombudsmen Service just to access and close my account with these clowns. I wish I could say my issue will see a positive resolution, but at this rate Paragon appear to be doing everything in their power to wittle down my will to fight back in order to seize the funds for themselves. 0/5 stars if I could select that option.

I have always been very satisfied with this Bank, but my review is relating to my experience of today, when I was endeavouring to open a new ISA account for the transfer of my expiring ISA on the 18th of this month. I needed assistance, as my tech skills need a lot to be desired! I spoke to Scott, who helped me considerably, talking me through what to do on line, and the whole matter was sorted within a few minutes. Thank you Scott. Thank you Paragon. I am also impressed with the % rate for this ISA, considering that 3 withdrawals per year are allowed.

Abysmally slow service. I could not access my triple access account for 11 days because Paragon insisted verification had to be done by mail, which of course then got stuck in the post. My LISA, I still cannot access, another two weeks after I began the process by sending the necessary forms, because it took Paragon over a week to look at the forms only for the them to bounce them back to me. I have recently rung customer service, who told me they've received the updated forms and it will take yet another five days from receipt of the new forms to even look at it. Why does it take this long? Why am I back at the bottom of the queue? Very disappointed and I shall not be banking here again.

Excellent service, very efficient, keeping me updated with transactions on my account. Had a problem with log in and lady on the phone was extremely helpful, patient and kind. Problem was resolved during that phone call which relieved my stress. She couldn't have been more helpful, a credit to paragon. I believe a company is only as good as it's after sales and I can only commend paragon on its excellent customer service. Will certainly be recommending paragon to anyone who is looking to invest.

2022 prize for worse mortgage lender goes to .... Having been a mortgage broker for 18 years and dealing with thousands of client's mortgages I would say paragon bank take the prize for being the worst lender in 2022. Their stance with underwriting seems more like they are looking to find reasons not to lend that to actually be pragmatic and look at the bigger picture. We have had countless clients declined this year for one reason or the next. the reasons become more and more ridiculous as the year goes on. They turn down genuine borrowers who have tried helping their tenants out by offering less than market rent or if the landlord has too little or too much rent going in the bank account, or if the condition of the property is a little dated or the moon is in the wrong position with the sun that week. Their in house surveyors are even worse, the property needs to be in amazing condition and probably in Kensington or Chelsea. forget if it needs a lick of paint or in a normal street, if the wind is blowing in the wrong direction that day im sure the panel surveyors will decline it. in fact, even if the property is brand new with a decent EPC in a London post code, they still have found an excuse not to lend on a property. ever other mortgage company we have had a revaluation done with on the said properties that haven't passed Paragons standards has passed with absolutely no problems with every other bank. even if the rates are attractive we will not be submitting any new deals to them as they will find a reason to decline it. Once Apon a time a few years ago they didnt have these issues. they are do not support the intermediary (brokers) as you have to wait so long for a decision (4 months in some cases) for them to eventually decline the case. in this time, we could have gone to a lender who wants to lend money and had a mortgage offer. although Paragon advertise for business and come up on the sourcing system, im sure this is just to say they are in the market to lend without the actual willingness to. I feel sorry for their staff as they are targeted on getting deals in only to have their decisions turned down at the 11th hour. Bad show Paragon RIP

Excellent banking procedure - easy to use and very secure. We enjoy the contact when accounts mature and the ease of choice for future investment. Only downside has been our email address even though shown on the account has somehow not been available to bank staff as we repeatedly receive letters asking us to update - have even rang to enable staff to update - yet still no progress.

This company keeps calling me. When I asked why the 'customer service ' , this term I use lightly, called me a b#@×h and hung up. Nice, thanks for the cold calls and great service
