    Was a customer of these for 2 and half years. Initially I was happy overall. But due to the spiralling insurance costs I decided to do a voluntary termination as I was at the 50% point. They are now trying to charge me £170 for a service on the car that they state as an interval of 12 months or 12000 miles. 2016 (66) plate BMW 335d Msport. The car was last serviced at the end of August 2024 and covered just 3000 miles since then. Sent them proof from BMW themselves that completely contradicts what Moneyway state. Anyone who knows BMWs know they use a condition based servicing. The car tells you when it needs a service. 08/2026 as stated on the cars dashboard. Even after sending them the proof from bmw they won’t void the charge. After many phone calls and getting no where I am refusing to pay this scam charge and Moneyway have treated to harass me with emails, letters and phone calls. The matter is now with the Financial ombudsman.

    Been a customer for nearly 4 years with no issues. No missed payments. No problems. Entered financial hardship and was aware I would struggle to make payment for August and so contacted early in the month (payment due 16th) to inform and make arrangements for a payment plan to cover arrears. (Spoke with Razwana) Agreed everything on the phone with usual payments to restart in September plus additional payment for 5 months with a view to clearing arrears in February. All good. DD cancelled and agreed to call back on September 1st to confirm arrangements, which I did (spoke with Alexi). In the meantime I changed my primary bank account so I informed them on September 15th (spoke with Rachel) my payment for this month would be made via card plus the agreed arrears payment with new bank account details set to begin DD for usual date in October. CPA in place on card, link sent everything in place. All good. September 23rd and now they have attempted a DD for the contract amount which has sent me overdrawn. Fantastic! Day of a funeral and now left with no money. Contact them at 9am only to be hung up on by Nazmin. Then get through to Manahill who assured me she understood my complaint when clearly she didn’t and then informed my payment on the 15th was to clear my arrears. Makes no sense as that payment was higher than my arrears meaning they overcharged me. Great! After explaining this several times she transferred me through to the only competent person (Jason - Vehicle complaints) but unfortunately he couldn’t help because a) he had no idea why I was on the phone and b) he wasn’t even from the right department. He did help me as best he could and transferred me through to a lovely manager called Braddi. She in no way had an appalling attitude from the moment she got on the phone. In no way at all did I feel like her priority was to save face and somehow make this seem like it was my issue. She was a delight. I actually really do understand why she holds that position. Attitude honestly was a joke. No apology or if she did say the words, (can’t remember, fuming at this point) no sincerity at all. Told me I would have to cancel DD my side and not a problem because it won’t clear until PM so no issue. Apart from the fact I’ve now got nothing in my bank account. Yes I’m struggling financially but that’s no reason to be treated this way. Absolutely ridiculous. Never missed a payment and boy did they make sure it won’t happen again. Shocking. Told if charges were incurred they would review as part of complaint. Honestly disgusting attitude.

    Disgrace of a company. Car purchased developed an engine fault, had to fight for 4 months to get it looked at then got it back and engine fault is still there. Waited another 3 weeks for an inspection which still hasn’t been booked. Constant lies from their customer service team that have all been caught on recorders calls and sent to ombudsman. If you want a life of stress then use these absolutely inept chocolate teapots of an outfit. Waited 3 weeks for a manager call back. They don’t care that you can’t get your children to school or yourself to work. The only time you hear from them during the complaints procedure is to remind you to pay them for the car that doesn’t move. Inept to the highest degree, avoid like the plague

    Cannot recommend this company. Made me become in arrears because they stopped my direct debit. Every offer I make, they reject, even through a company my solicitor put me through and set up a payment plan with, they rejected that as well… absolutely disgusting, especially as I have less than a year to pay off and is only the interest of moneyways. Really disappointed with this company. Now seeking legal action with my solicitor as my arrears were accumulated due to their failure not mine (evident based as I have all my documents to prove that and approved by my legal advisor) I RECOMMEND ANYONE AND EVERYONE TO STAY CLEAR OF THESE WALLIES

    I would give no stars if I could. Borrowed 5 years of car finance. Paid 4 years worth of payments on time, then this year I fell ill and got signed of work and looking after my mum with Cancer. I only have less the 1 year to pay off as well. Then due to difficulties as didn't get full wage I missed Feb payments and then March payment was late and bounced back into account. I am since back at work and picking up extra shifts to get back on track so I rang them and offered to pay March payment in full (needed to Borrow this as don't get full wage till end of month) and then offered to pay Feb full payment on 31st March which is only few week away on top of my usual payment and they declined and told me I had to pay in full or they will repossess my car, disgusting! I could understand if I offered £20 per month till I paid two months arrears but I offered March payment NOW in full which is only 4 days late and Feb payment in full 31st March on top of mu usual payment which will get me back upto date. Avoid this Company. They are like little hitlers and power over the small people just trying to get by! Plus interest is extortionate. My car price was £14000. Cost of finance £22000! I currently owe £5500 till Paid off. I offered a settlement amount which was £5400 saving £100 which is a joke! Avoid Avoid Avoid

    Reviews are direct reflection. serious management issues, staff is not trained. their online bank details are not being verified and thats the only way you can make payment so no any other method to accept to settle your finance. If bank details are not being verified that means your funds can land in any other bank account and you may can lose all your money. staff said we are aware of the problem but why this company is not doing anything. Making life harder for their own mistakes and problems. wasted my 32 minutes in wrong arguments which does not make sense at all. such business must be reported to FCA who governs such doggy companies also and does not do nothing maybe.

    Worst company I ever had to deal with, steer clear! If you ever get in business with these crooks they’ll take the skin of your back and still complain about it. They charge 50% plus interest, If u are late even 1 day they send a record to your credit agency and harass you with threatening emails and sending people to your door! You have been warned! Does not deserve even 1 star!

    Shame I cannot leave no stars. Customer service is absolutely shocking! Quick enough to ring or send letters to get money off you for monthly payments but as soon as you want to pay them a lump sum to finalise your finance they cannot help and cannot do this over the phone. All they want is your money in interest so as soon as you try to better yourself by paying it off they aren't interested. Wouldn't recommend anyone getting finance with this company they are shocking! Can never speak to a manager as they apparently do not have contact numbers for them only emails ! What a load of rubbish
