   When the bank recently changed the app it caused all sorts of issues. It's the least intuitive online bank I've ever used so I closed my account. I was tired of talking to the staff over the phone. Staff who didn't really know what they were doing when a block was put on the account with a specific code. Account now closed and if I were you I wouldn't bother. There are other banks out there with better interest rates and they work seamlessly online.

   Very happy with products and service. The app works well. The only issue is that fixed term bonds have interest credited at the end of the calendar year as well as at the end of the term of the bond - maybe it’s a legal requirement. This can make tax liability calculations a bit more complicated when interest is credited in two different tax years.

   Best fixed interest rates on the market when we applied. Application was quick and easy. Feedback confirmation after making a deposit was prompt and re-assuring. Account balance is easy to access. The only issues are: 1. Can't find the registered account holder name(s) anywhere in online account information, and 2. My linked banking provider could not verify the destination account and raised a caution when making my deposit.

   When I was looking to invest I found 3 providers offering the same best % interest return I chose Secure Trust Bank because the other 2 would only take my investment in 1 lump by chaps payment. The 1 improvement STB could make is to allow the first initial transaction to be £1. I am sure I am not the only person nervous of transferring a large amount of money into a newly opened account!
