They made us pay £10 to get into at 10:30, without telling us that there was only 30 minutes remaining before the end of the concert and closing for the night, much before the 6am advertised at the front. Pure scam.

Great atmosphere, good beer, good bands. Can't fault it.

Good little venue to see live bands. It kept nice and cool even with a full crowd to see the band. Drinks are reasonably priced and staff are friendly. Only recommendation is to have more staff on at the bar when events are on as there were only 2 on when we went and it took half an hour to get served

Everything was fine, it was a safe place. The sound system was good. There were necessary precautions. The perfectly cleaned toilet was very appreciated and comfortable. It was a nice atmosphere. But the presentation of tequila without lemon and salt and the funny small glass was distressing and unpleasant.

Way too hot inside, no ac. Nice smoking area/bar tho, and the atmosphere too. Tickets on the door £12 tho

Went to an event night here. By 11.30 they were out of most ale. All the staff behind the bar looked fed up and in a bad mood and the service was the slowest I've ever experienced. I've worked behind the bar in a busy club in town and I get it can be challenging but this was shocking. Upstairs area was stunning though.

I’m very surprised to see reviews of how good the sound is here. The venue and staff are all friendly and it really is a cool place and could be great for bands. I went to see a band last weekend and clearly even the band were distressed with the sound quality and I’m not surprised. Whoever has done the audio visual installation of this place has got it terribly wrong - this is no reason not to visit the place by the way, I’m sure it’s somewhat saved when the artist in question isn’t a loud band or has DJ based backing tracks so gets lost in the messy hum. You’re hit by 2 speakers as you walk in (great if your stood in the door way) and 2 speakers on stage that half of them are smacking the low girder and causing the sound to bounce back. With a proper AV installation this place would be awesome. Unfortunately one of the worst sounding venues I’ve been to (and I’ve lost count to how many gigs and venues I’ve been to). Great potential and as I say, good location and cool place. TERRIBLE sound.

Good venue, not to busy and the toilets were OK. The bar was ridiculously slow though. There were 3 young people on that should have been able to smash through the queue as it wasn't that busy. Beans on toast were playing who were brilliant as ever. Would highly recommend attending one of your favourite gigs here.
