A really lovely local social club. A members bar and a large social room for celebrations and activities.
Had a wedding last weekend on and reception here was treated terribly by the staff and owner also the food was terrible ruined everything and won't give us our money back
Amazing Sunday lunch. 2 courses for 12.95. I had lamb, the Mrs had the chicken ( a whole breast) with loads of veg, mash and roasties, a boat load of gravy and Yorkshire pud. Honeycomb cheesecake for desert topped it off nicely. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Can't wait to go back.
A party of us ladies were at St James for our evening Christmas meal on Monday 12th December. The food was very good, although very generous, but take away trays with lids could be provided. The young staff were very pleasant. The room was on the cool side but I have yet to find a venue with a really warm room, having experienced another quite cold room this lunch time at another venue.
We booked st james for dads funeral,,reception/wake..the staff ,were so helpful...and the day went so smoothly,,and the buffet was exceptional...everyone commented!!! So ,well done to all the staff..good team work..and will definitely recommend!!! Big thank you xxx ♥️
We went to St James's club for our friends Silver wedding. It was lovely. Good company. Decent prices and great food. The staff were very efficient.
