   Do not use! I thought these estate agents were genuine people but they are not. We moved into a studio flat as we were absolutely desperate, the condition of the studio was not great but livable therefore we was greatful for whatever we could get. On picking up the keys the agent taking the photos made so many comments about how bad the cleaning was and condition the studio was left in. This can be seen in the photos provided at the beginning of our tenancy. After a couple of months living in the property I found out I was over 3 months pregnant so we then needed to look at possibly moving. After agreeing with the landlord about ending our tenancy I said we would give them the 2 months to find someone as we did not want to upset anyone and make things difficult. When it came to viewings I tried to make sure I was always available even though I was constantly back and forth to the hospital due to being high risk. Unfortunately there was several occasions I had to chase up the estate agents as I had no idea if they were turning up or not and was often left waiting around. When it came to us moving out we decided that as we had to paint 3 of the walls due to wall hangings that we would also paint the rest of the studio as well as fix things such as filling large gaps around the windows, taking blinds down fixing and washing as these were bad from before we moved in. Fixing the seal around the bath and go over parts of the walls that the previous decorators had missed (this can all be compared in photos of before we moved in to us leaving) getting our deposit back has been a nightmare, no rush or concern from these estagents until I contacted them to find out what is going on. A deduction was then made, it was not a ridiculous amount however, the fact that we improved the property, was absolutely no bother the time we was there and accommodating to every need to find someone else to move in and the state of the place when we moved in, is what has left me writing this lengthy review. I do not recommend using this estate agents! Edit: Please see photos below as comments about a soiled toilet was made however, in their inspection they stated otherwise. I would not have left this review if untrue comments like this were not made.

   I have used Gateway for many years. I have always had very good advice. Currently there are so many changes from the government regarding properties. Without Gateway's timely advice and update information I would not be able to keep myself up to date with all the new regulations. I also use Gateway for the management of lease holders. This part has really helped preventing conflicts between lease holders and safe guarding the building's repair ,and providing best possible living environment for all lease holders within the requirements from the current regulation.

   I stumbled upon one of their properties in Zoopla which was already taken. Unlike other letting agent who will just drop the phone after that enquiry, Gateway Letting didn't stop there but instead, offered other properties that might be of my interest. TAKE NOTE: this happened during the pandemic. After the offer, they have booked me immediately for viewing for this lovely little lat that suites me, newly renovated. The application process was very smooth. After a week, I am already moving in my new flat. They have systematic reporting system so your concerns for the flat are attended timely. Their agents are also very responsive. It’s been a 1+ great year with Gateway. More powers!
