   This is awful! I've never experienced such a terrible apartment and such poor organization before. No hot water for three days, doors that couldn't be locked. According to the organizers, one towel is enough for a five-day stay. We had to repeatedly explain that this wasn't the case. There were hardly any cutlery available, and the curtains wouldn't close, which was very inconvenient when the street lamp was right in front of your bedroom window. We will never book with SYL again. One star is actually still too much. How bad is this! I've never dealt with such a bad apartment and such poor organization before.    It is a new building just a stone’s throw to the high street. But who needs Harry Potter Studio when living in here full of “adventures”? Every day stepping out of that overly-expensive rental apartment, I felt as if I was in limbo: a used needle/condom on the floor, a swinging exit sign in the air, strangers sleeping in the garbage room, lost delivery ripped open in the stairs, trespassers doing selfies on the rooftop, etc. Yes, I know I am literally living next to high street, it’s normal to have homeless around. However, it’s not the fault of them, it’s a 101 duty of care: the landlord owes us a duty of care when it comes to tenants’ safety while living in their rental property! The lock of the front gate has been broken for months but the landlord never cares to fix it. What makes this even more absurd is when intruders messed up the bin room, the landlord would charge all tenants for extra cleaning fee! Thought days like this would end when moving out? Sorry no, the landlord tried to rip me off by accusing that the end-of-tenancy cleaning is done domestically (even though I paid for a professional one approved by the letting agent), as well as the cracked patio door which the crack was originally there since day 1. Advice? Avoid at all costs.
