Especially unique bar with a very exclusive atmosphere, amazing choice of drinks and great entertainment from the mixologist. Very attentive staff, Tom was an exceptional and humorous host. A must visit if you are ever in Chester. Great music with unusual eclectic decor and interesting selection of drinks!

Phenomenal. The Nacho Libre was hands down the best cocktail either of us have ever had, perfect balance of flavour and spice. We shared another after finishing it was that good. Started at the sister bar downstairs then moved up when a table became available, which I'd really recommend as downstairs was also great.

Loved the Speakeasy prohibition concept especially with the secrecy touches. The staff are friendly and attentive and drinks are of high quality. You could tell that Mark, the General Manager was heavily emotionally invested and his passion for the venue shone through. It was great talking to him. We've been twice now and will return again, looking forward to the next twist he devises!

Stunningly wonderful cocktails served by friendly, talented, and attentive staff. We returned for a second visit and they recognized that we had returned as a party of 3, not 4, as my son was tired and wanted to go back to his room. Would be sure to make this a stop on any return trips to Chester. Atmosphere can best be described as a vampire’s boudoir - dark with a hint of incense and classical decor.

Great hidden bar, really nice cocktails, good music and very friendly & knowledgeable staff. Really enjoyed our visit, I had the peanut butter old fashioned which was on as a special which was really good - buttery, salty and all round tasty. Would definitely go back again.

Amazing hidden gem of a cocktail that can be easily missed! Found it by chance as we followed the piano we could hear playing. Located next to Lono Cove, up a set of stairs going through a large door. Looks like a flat, lol. Once inside your whisked away into a different gothic infused era. Great pianist and character! One of the best cocktails I've had, (The Rum & Raisin). Definitely coming back and staying a while, whilst trying other cocktails. Best bar in Chester!!!

What a gem. If you can find it you'll have a wonderful experience. It's very intimate only 20 covers, I'd say. A pianist was playing and singing to help with the ambience. We had 4 cocktails, and each one was special, a work of art. We will be returning when we're next in Chester
