   Would give zero stars if I could! Came here on a Monday night for a drink and the guy who I can only assume was the owner, was verbally abusing the manager of the bar openly in the bar. It was completely inappropriate and unprofessional to do that in front of paying customers and other members of staff, the way he spoke to her was disgusting and reduced her to tears. If that’s how he speaks to his staff in front of customers, god knows what he’s like behind the scenes. I hope she walks out of there and doesn’t ever go back because no one deserves to be treated like that in work.

   A group of a dozen of us booked out a table for drinks here and what a brilliant experience we had! Fun atmosphere and great drinks. Matt and the team of bar staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The booking process was easy and Matt made sure our table was accessible for our disabled guest. A round of free shots for my birthday was the icing on the cake! Thank you again for an amazing night. We’ll be back again!

   We booked the Gold Room for a hen party. Karaoke hosted by the wonderful Cam who entertained us for 2 hours. A really beautiful place, definitely made out for the 'instagram' postability. Upstairs in the main bar fabulous service continued from the lovely Lana. In all a wonderful aesthetic place to celebrate a special occasion, with the nicest attentive staff.

   We came to Popcorn for a cocktail masterclass for my hen party, and it exceeded all expectations! We had Doug hosting our masterclass and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better, he made our night so much fun and had a great sense of humour! Would highly recommend this masterclass, there was 18 of us and everyone loved it - the cocktails we made were delicious too!

   Advice to others, watch your drinks being made and make sure you're getting full measures! Nice place, you know Chester won't be cheap but had some jaggers with some other drinks I ordered, it was a slither of jagger at the bottom, and a can of energy drink between the 3 drinks.... Added around £15 on to the tab.... Wasn't even half a shot of Jagger in each drink (coming from someone who back in the day, was a free pouring/cocktail bar man) very poor drink for the price. Between the 3, it'll probably make 1 good jagger as they should be. Drinks aren't cheap out anymore, we know that, just being stingy with the measures to go with it, is enough to make people stop coming. You've lost any future custom from our group for a start.

   Very cool bar with a buzzing atmosphere. Everyone that walked past ran up to the door to get a great photo with their Christmas display. Management really looked after us when we went as well so thank you for that

3. Not so Plain ★★★☆☆

   Nice bar, customer service was OK. Cocktails are ok. Lovely outside area (at the back of the bar), outdoor heaters, blankets and cushions are a lovely touch. Bathrooms are on the lower floor so not suitable if you have mobility issues. Parking is not very close by.
