   Have had very enjoyable times in the pub for many years but now feel it has changed so much I had to have something eat as I am a diabetic and as my friend and I did not know we could not bring food in the Manager was so rude the way she spoke to us ok I understand what she was saying but I would not of got anything but I knew my sugars where going low when I said I am a diabetic she was not bothered her attitude was awful just getting my point off few across

   Omg Great singer but far too loud We asked the barmaid to turn the music down a touch, was told no Had to leave our drinks and leave Out with girlfriends for a night out , had to do sign language

   Was out in town on Sunday afternoon and tried to get in but was stopped by a doormat at the door and told I couldn't come in because I was wearing shorts. Let's be honest it's a twopenny halfpenny bar not a 5 star hotel so I went around the corner and spent my money there instead. I wonder if they will keep this rule when the weather gets better and everyone is wearing shorts including women? Ps I'm not a kid wearing sports clothing I'm 67 years old and I consider I'm quite a smart dresser.

   This place has been popular for a long time the atmosphere is created by the customers just as much as the bar. Really good singers on regularly make it great entertainment through out the day and night. Some real characters get in here really good times spent here very friendly staff and customers alike. Bar and cocktail bar all at good prices.
