Good place to hang out on a night time

Visited on a Friday night. Our group of 5 were the only people in there, until a couple came in. The DJ was playing the music so loud you could feel the vibrations through the seats. Obviously playing to a crowd that wasn't even there! He played a handful of tracks that you could dance to, then managed to clear the dance floor. Don't know who he thought he was playing to, but it obviously wasn't to the customers in there. Pity.

Whenever my husband and I go on a night out together, just the two of us, we usually struggle for a lively place that feels welcoming. I finally got him to Soul Train and the atmosphere was brilliant! Everyone just loving the music and their company. No-one was fixated on getting that perfect Instagram picture. Although we didn't stay for the slowie at the end, we had a fabulous night there celebrating our 17 year wedding anniversary. This will most definitely be my go to place!

Place was empty, the music was not jusy soul, was a mix of 80s and 90s. The dj kept saying stuff down the mic, like some cheesy 80s school disco dj which was really annoying. Bar was poorly stocked, though toilets were clean and security were friendly. Will not be going here again.

3 london lads aged 35 plus on a Saturday night out had an amazing time. The crowd was over 25, the music was old skool soul and rnb and the dance floor was busy. Thank you Liverpool
