   Unfortunately my visit was marred by staff that didn't know how to use a credit card terminal, the member of staff didn't know if they had to swipe the card, insert the card or knew where to tap the card. Although I tried to indicate how the terminal was to be used she ignored me and was completely flustered. A member of staff that didn't know about the show and a bar staff member that was unbelievably rude and dismissive. I asked her a specific drink she curtly replied "no" and suggested nothing else and then swiftly ignored me. I had to ask another member of staff for another drink which he provided promptly. I was very disappointed with my first visit to the Nomad Theater. The performance was fantastic. The British Theater Academy did an amazing job. The singing and dancing were both at a sound and very entertaining level, . Costumes colourful and the actors gave it their all. Well done for the whole cast of Friday's....'Me and My Girl' The sound technician really needed to do a better job as there were several very noticeable glitches throughout the otherwise stella performance. What a quaint little theater.

   The theatre itself is a little gem but I'm afraid I have to give just the one star because of the quality of the production staged when I visited last week. I've been involved with amateur theatre for 30 years and sad to to say this was only the second time I've ever left at the interval. And my partner and I were not alone. I adore Ayckbourn but didn't laugh once and the audience on the whole didn't laugh that often. It was poorly directed with a lack of pace and dynamics and the performances were very weak (two quite awful, one of whom was barely audible). I could say more but won't. Such a crying shame to have that facility but not have the talent to makebetter use of it.

   Tucked away but still capable of putting on a good show. Ice creams are cheaper too. Can park on local streets but worth taking a torch at night as street lighting poor.
