I’ve been involved with St Francis Hall for many years through Scouts, youth groups, and community events, and it’s a fantastic space that really serves West Wickham. The hall is well-used by preschool families, community markets, Slimming World, and theatre groups, and it’s great to see so many local people benefit from it. The committee is working hard on a revival plan for 2025–26, including upgrades to heating, air conditioning, and lighting, which will make the hall even more welcoming and comfortable for everyone. It’s a brilliant community venue, very reasonably priced to hire, and plays such an important role in bringing people together.
