Would have been amazing if the church hadn't decided to demolish this amazing piece of theatrical history and build flats very soon. Disgusted doesn't even come close.
We came to watch a Snow white in January 2019. It was an amazing performance. The theatre is lovely, very old & historic. It has a bar area & seats at the bottom & 2nd level. It’s fairly basic & old fashioned but it has everything it needs and as I said the theatre doesn’t make the show. But it’s still lovely. I think from1930’s sos piece of history there. Toilets are available & there’s parking in front but you might need to park on the local streets as it’s about 15 car spaces.
A fantastic week of pantomime with SMP Theatre. I hope the theatre can be saved.
Great theatre. We went to the brownie panto and you can’t get better as a local venue bringing through local talent.
The theatre was extremely small and you could barely stand in the wings backstage also the changing rooms were really dirty
