Lovely little theatre, friendly volunteers, great bar and a variety of performances on throughout the year.

This was our second visit to the Edward Alderton Theatre after seeing a great performance of Hi-de-Hi last year. This year was even better with a superb performance of Yes Prime Minister that was a credit to the Director and all the cast and backroom staff. The theatre is small and very quaint with a competitively priced bar. Unfortunately, like last year, the theatre was extremely hot during the performance due to the surprisingly hot weather, but this did not detract from a great evening's entertainment. Highly recommended.

I only came across this lovely theatre last year despite being a local for many years. I have been to virtually every production since then and have seen some truly great shows including last night's performance of A Taste of Honey. The theatre is small but absolutely charming and I love being so close to the stage. The shows are all so reasonably priced. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. I look forward to many more visits to this gem of a theatre.

Went to see Jekyll and Hyde. Great performance by the cast especially Henry Jekyll. All the staff are really friendly. Lovely little theatre, must go there more often.

Nice local theatre. Not so easy to find and very small waiting area. However worth going as the plays are usually well done by amateurs
