Just watched nativity the musical. Absolutely brilliant. Cast were terrific and so funny. A great night out. Third visit in last few months and enjoyed all productions. Great staff. All very friendly and loved the fact we could order for the interval too. Previous shows seen were Adamβs Family and open all hours. How lucky to have this on our doorstep.

We went to the Brookside Theatre in Romford to see The Addams Family musical last month and had a really lovely evening. Itβs a small, friendly venue with a warm, community feel, and you can tell a lot of care goes into their productions. The show itself was very sweet β lots of heart, some genuinely funny moments and a cast clearly giving it their all. There were quite a few technical hiccups on the night, which did break the atmosphere a little at times. That said, the team handled it with good humour, and the audience stayed on their side throughout. One thing that really deserves to be highlighted is that the theatre employs young people with special needs. This is such a fantastic initiative and a real credit to the organisation. Itβs wonderful to see a local arts venue actively creating opportunities and an inclusive environment. Overall, despite the technical issues, we left with a smile on our faces and a very positive impression of the theatre and its values. Weβd be happy to go back and support future productions.

Went to see Beauty and the beast at the Brookside theatre this week. What a great show, we loved seeing a panto at Easter. Dame Fanny flapjack was amazing and her many , many dress changes impressed us greatly. I wish I was going to the adult version this weekend as I imagine it will be hilarious.

We traveled from SE London watch DSUK the Dire Straits tribute band. On arriving I thought the venue was small but it was perfect. The sound quality was amazing and the staff couldnβt have been nicer. There was a mix up with our seats and Jean sorted it out for us with charm and a smile. We will definitely return. A lovely venue.

This little haven is a piece of gold in the area of Romford. It brings high quality performances to the general public at the fraction of the price of the Westend. The shows are really varied from musicals to comedy, bands to the paranormal! The front of house volunteers are delightful and always willing to help. I have seen some unnecessary reviews on here regarding experiences. I have witnessed some of the βnegativeβ experiences as an audience member and I have to say, those complaining have clearly not read small print when booking and throw their toys out the pram as they donβt get what they want immediately. In my experience, The Brookside Theatre bend over backwards to accommodate their patrons and the negative comments I have seen are merely being spiteful as they didnβt get their own way. I have have seen numerous shows at The Brookside Theatre and will endeavour to do so for a long time to come. Many congratulations to the recent cast of The Sound of Music. Absolutely brilliant! The children were outstanding and the rest of the cast were superb! Keep it up Brookside! Looking forward to the next instalment

First time at Brookside and definitely the last went as a group of about 40 from a club for adults with a learning disability, we had booked so they knew we were coming but no facilities for the disabled, one gentleman could not manage the steps even with 4 male adults to help him, they insisted he could not sit at the top he had to go down to the bottom, thankfully a very nice man with 2 small children who was sitting in the back row offered to swap his seats, he said itβs a shame more people are not more accommodating, the staff/ volunteers were not helpful and in some cases quite rude. We then queued up for 15 mins for a drink only to find when we were 8th from the front that they then had to shut the kiosk for the 2nd half to start !!!!! Making it very upsetting for the individuals as they did not understand. If they could not cope with that amount of people then why did they let us book and take our money. Have done many many trips with this group over approx 8 years lots to Theatres and this trip was the worst theatre trip l have experienced with my son. I will agree that the show was excellent and was enjoyed by all so thank you

Never going to book at this theatre again as they would not let me reschedule "elf the musical " date for another time. I was taking my nephew who was very unwell and would not be able to make the schedule date. The woman to which we spoke to on the phone had no people skills whatsoever. It does seem like reading through other reviews on here that I am not the only one who have issues with this woman. I would not take another chance at booking again at this venue.

We came to see Titanic on Saturday evening. Fantastic show, very professional. We loved all the characters. We particularly enjoyed the male voices, towards the finale, and found it all quite moving. We have enjoyed several visits to this lovely theatre now and not been disappointed. I would encourage others to visit, we are lucky to have this in our local area.
