Reviewing on behalf of my good lady wife who recently enjoyed an introduction to the throwing on the wheel. Chloe is a fantastic teacher and the session was thoroughly rewarding. I made three pots in different shapes and sizes and I shall return to decorate and glaze. Brilliant experience.
After a 50 year period since the last picture I painted, I began classes 9 months ago with Chloe and they have changed my life! I spend my down time painting, I see things differently and have leaned so much, tried so many media styles and I love it! Chloe is a kind, cheerful, patient teacher who soon comes to understand each personality and what is needed to learn and progress. I rate her excellent because her teaching has given me real joy!
Chloe is an amazing art teacher, who shares her skill and experience with such enthusiasm and with a generous heart. Her love of art is infectious! She understands human personalities and has an ability to draw out the creativity within anyone in her classes, guiding and demonstrating techniques step by step. I throughly enjoy each class and the fun of rediscovering art and learning how to use various media in a fresh way or for the first time! Thank you so much Chloe.
Incredible pottery throwing session with Chloe. She made us all feel very relaxed and taught us lots of different methods whilst letting us all go at our own speed. One very talented lady! We wouldn’t hesitate to come back for another session. Can’t wait to see how our pieces turn out. Thanks Chloe
We had an absolutely wonderful introduction to throwing with Art In Chester. Chloe was super warm and welcoming, and did a great job of introducing us to the wheel. We had loads of fun, and came away with two pots each, which we’re really proud of. I would highly recommend Art in Chester and we’ll be back for sure.
I have been attending art class with Chloe at Art in Chester for four years. When I started I had not done any art training since school, more years ago than I care to remember. I had very little confidence initially, but over time, Chloe has helped me to try out many different art media and become confident in my own style. Take the first step - you won’t regret it.

I attended Chloe’s bluebell workshop on Saturday 9th April and had an amazing experience. I’m back to art after last doing it seriously at school. I recommend her classes to anyone trying to get back into art (like me) and experienced artists out there looking for a wonderful environment in which to work and explore.
Chloe's classes are always a delight. She has a lovely calm teaching style which brings out the best in her students. I had a thoroughly enjoyable day at one of her pottery classes recently fulfilling a long held ambition to throw a pot!
Chloe's classes feed my soul. Its like therapy for me having the space to just immerse myself in a small or longer project under her expert guidance. Chloe is hugely encouraging, she edifies her students and offers a wide variety of media and styles to study. The classes have a relaxed atmosphere and are the highlight of my week. And, in addition I have several lovely pieces I have taken home to enjoy!
