   We have been working with the UK military school for a number of years across all 3 of our school sites. The instructors have worked with all key stage areas from key stage 1 right through to key stage 5. They provide professional and reliable staff that form positive relationships with staff and students and offer wide range of educational opportunities. We have focused primarily on social and emotional development as well as resilience and self-esteem. The instructors have also provided a range of career development opportunities for our post-16 provision including CV writing and interview techniques. We have recently begun to utilise the offer of military mentors in school. These full time members of staff have supported students across all curriculum areas. They provide positive role models to the students along with a consistent and supportive approach that matches the school ethos.

   As a school, we have worked with UKMS for several years now. Throughout that period, each member of their team have been extremely professional and built fantastic relationships with the pupils they work with. The work they deliver is brilliant and extremely engaging and by the end of each session pupils have developed skills which help them learn a lot about themselves and reach their true potential.
