Due to financial overbearance I've got to the point of approaching Stepchange. Sent all creditors e mails this morning. The other 4 responsed straight away. Initially the girl (who weirdly won't give her name for 'security') said a e mail was sent back. But couldn't see it!. These are 1 of 5 creditors. It must be noted the other 4 ALL agreed for 30 day holds to allow Stepchange to contact and forward the necessary paperwork. These lot won't. Seem to have adopted a childish mentality of taking their bat and ball home. Refuse to hold my account for 30 days UNTIL paperwork received from Stepchange. Seems very petty. Then said they won't accept anything less than £86 despite not even having my budget and circumstances from Stepchange yet. So how they think i can afford £86 without seeing my circumstances is beyond me. Goes to show affordabity is irrelevant to them.

After spending a £1000 on my motorbike ready for a European trip which cost me another £1200, my dog required veterinary care. The One Stop Money Shop were fantastic and released funds quickly.
