Got to admit I was sceptical about trying Pilates but it is working for me (long history of lower back issues) - pretty confident it can work for you too if you give it a try! I am happy to recommend the weekly Pilates classes. Classes can be anywhere from 6-12 people plus an instructor in a clean & safe environment. There are a range of time slots to book, including evenings. All instructors have been friendly, create a welcome positive vibe to each individual and show you how to do everything, correctly. The classes vary each week which helps keep it interesting.

I was recommended Katie Bell and her team after suffering a foot injury I joined a 6week rapid recovery programme and my physio James was amazing.He was really invested in my recovery and my progress was steady and consistent. After the programme finished I joined a complimentary Pilates class which I found testing but enjoyable. I joined the weekly class.My balance is definitely improving and I feel I’m making progress in my flexibility. I do pilates at KB with Emily and I can't recommend it enough! All the staff are lovely, friendly and welcoming. I am not very coordinated and have always hated all exercise type classes with other people as I struggle to keep up with the routines and remember what I'm doing. Emily is patient and lovely and helps me and others out with the different moves and stretch routines as needed without making me feel stupid which really helps. I'm actually enjoying it, which I never have anything like it before. It really helps that many of the staff are also physios or specialise in other areas which really helps if you have any underlying health issues or difficulties. Staff are very knowledgeable and take time to answer any questions or concerns. My husband attends the class too and he has other physio needs and conditions and he's really enjoying the classes and finding them really accessible. They have been very accommodating with extra requirements during sessions too, you can tell they want everyone to feel comfortable during sessions and get a lot out of it. Emily is really knowledgeable of how the body works and I feel like I'm actually progressing with these kinds of exercises for the first time. 5 ⭐s from us, so glad we decided to bite the bullet and give pilates a go those few months ago, this will be something we keep up with now going forward. My husband has also used the physiotherapy services and highly recommends. Thanks team KB!

I have been going to pilates at Katie Bell for almost 2 years now, after getting some severe lower back pain when cycling which was limiting me to less than a quarter of my usual distance. I have to say it was extremely effective, so that after a few months I was back to my old distances with no discomfort whatsoever. The instructors are very good and there is a nice range of class abilities and times. The teamup app for booking and rescheduling is also easy to use.

I saw Emily for quite a few months after the birth of my baby and she was amazing. I honestly couldn't have been better looked after by her. She was so reassuring and gave me a plan for getting rehab and getting back into fitness. Emily is also so lovely to deal with and I really enjoyed our sessions. She is really knowledgeable and you just know you are in safe hands. I used to have regular massages with Hannah and James who were both excellent. I only stopped because we moved out the area. The Diamond package for monthly massages is well worth it. I also went to the baby and me Pilates course, which was really well led with great corrections.

I can not recommend Katie Bells enough, throughout this tough year they have offered and delivered the best possible service throughout. My on line Pilates classes have been focused and fun, staff have managed to keep a keen eye on us all, giving feedback and encouragement. Now classes have returned to face to face careful provision has been made for social distancing and equipment sterilisation resulting in people been comfortable and happy to return. It’s been important for me to be able to carry on with Pilates and it’s all credit to Katie and her team for doing such a fantastic job and it’s made a real difference getting through things.

I have been going to Pilates classes at Katie Bell for getting on for two years. I love it! I tried different places before but this studio is the best. Instruction is highly professional and knowledgeable but also accessible and supportive - very important to me as a 60+ participant. There are different levels and types of class - I have found all those I have tried to be of a very high standard. The availability of high quality physio is also great if it is needed. One of the best things is that clients are seen as individuals and guidance is given on this basis. There is a real team atmosphere at Katie Bell!
