Half the items there are definitely stolen. The fact that places like this are legal is genuinely insane. All you have to do is apparently show your ID and they take your details but no proof of purchase has to be shown. Now I understand not everybody is going to have a receipt of purchase- items could’ve been bought secondhand or old, receipt lost, a gift etc. but what I don’t agree with is that they will take items that are signed in to accounts that have no relationship to the seller. Some people also sell multiple items that may be logged in to multiple people’s respective profiles. I’m not saying it’s everybody and I’m not saying it’s every item. But when I was in the store, there was a lot of people that had an array of items that they probably didn’t own. We were recently burgled and of course our stuff was in that store. What was funny was with the Xbox’s, they put them at a ridiculously low price- literally £20 for a good condition Xbox Xbox One. They didn’t wipe the system.- or obviously check the account logs, the two Xboxs were owned by me and a friend respectively, they had peoples names and emails still on the devices. What was strange was how they wiped only the Nintendo switch - probably because it was a lot more expensive and they know to sell it people might be more suspicious if someone’s account is still on there. But of course, with our Xboxs, the lower grade items were not wiped and the prices were put ridiculously low so they could be sold straight away before they could be tracked so they won’t be at fault if they were found out. There is no way that most of the items in that store were not stolen. I’m sorry but there is just no way. The fact that the police have to constantly go to places like cash converters cash generators - any secondhand electronic store. The processes to sell secondhand electronics should not be that quick - the process needs to be a lot more regulated with extra verification steps so that people like us don’t get burgled and the same day find their items at a cash converters.

A couple of weeks ago. I came in to the shop for a Samsung tablet. Lewis was on retail and hugely helped us all out that day with finding the best suitable tablet. Gave us a smile as we left. Also, the prices are incredible. Hugely recommended.

Great place to buy stuff and the staff in this particular one have always been decent towards me. Still not gonna be selling my stuff to Cashies again though due to severe lowballing. Might work with the junkies, but I learned my lesson after the first time I got ripped off at one.

The staff need to learn some respect. I witnessed them laughing and basically bullying a customer as he was trying to sell an item. To think some people selling these items are at their lowest time and to have some stuck up person making others laugh is un acceptable.

Always a different experience whenever I visit, a lovely helpful person or someone who seems to be looking down on you from a great height because you need a little help to get by Unfortunately that was my experience today, so I've had to drop you from five stars to one

I spent over an hour going into different gold shops in Leeds to try and sell some gold items to raise some cash, these guys offered over £200 pounds more then any other shop in the area. Not only that they have given me 6 months to buy my gold back from them. While I was In store I saw lots of good electronics being sold they had a cabinet full of apple products. The service was really good, the atmosphere was good, the music was my sort of sounds some right bangers, made me feel right at home. The staff took there time with my and explained everything to me so I could understand I would recommend this shop to anyone
