Aircraft Circus Academy is an amazing space to train in, for both those who are new to circus as well as experienced performers. The instructors are top-notch for all levels and the owners do a great job of creating a welcoming environment for all different types of people. The business is a small non-profit organization and they truly believe in making circus accessible to everyone!

My kids attend the classes here and have done for ~3 years. The teachers are lovely and really supportive. They do a great job of engaging the kids and keeping them involved. They are also understanding if a child does not feel comfortable doing something and will not push them.

I did the harness and bungee taster as a birthday present. That is certainly an experience that put me out of my comfort zone but brought a lot of joy too! The staff here are solid professionals and I trusted them entirely. Definitely a fun and unconventional activity to try!

We had 1 rehearsal at the Academy with the director/main rigger, which was good and helpful, but the 2nd time we were supposed to have a rehearsal, we had a terrible and scary personal experience. My husband and I scheduled a 3 hours rehearsal, accompanied by the operational director/main rigger at the academy (A rehearsal we paid for in advance). We brought a large and heavy amount of gear after a 1.5 hours expensive extra large Uber ride which we planned in advance in order to arrive on time. When we got there on time, we put together all the gear as quickly as possible. When the main rigger arrived 30 minutes late, we asked him whether we could extend the time of the rehearsal because we are starting half an hour late and that time is precious to us (we had an extremely important show the next day we planned to train with him on). The guy immediately blamed us for being 5 minutes late, and because of our "disrespect" he arrived when he did. He also complained that we paid "only" 5 days before the session (on the previous rehearsal with him we paid upon arrival, exactly as he wished for. This time we paid 5 days in advance). Within seconds he said we can cancel our session and he'll refund us. When we tried to prove we weren't late, and we just wanted to have our important training time like we were promised and paid for, he started swearing at us (including racists remarks about our geographical background) plus saying "Get the **** out of my building" in front of a dozen students present in a lesson at the same space, being extremely violent verbally, rude and aggressive for extra long minutes at the front desk. We didn't talk back at him or used the same language for 1 second. On the contrary, my husband tried to stop the argument several times, asking him to stop swearing all the time. Being so hurt, feeling ashamed by this abrupt chaos escalated within seconds, we were wondering how a 5 minutes delay, which is not true as far as I'm sure of, could cause such an assault. We asked to watch the CCTV, just to make sure. But when the time on the screen got closer to the time of our arrival, he didn't let us look at the screen anymore. We were kicked out of his facility, and had to find a different facility ASAP to train, taking 2 extra large Ubers and pay a 3 digits extra amount of money on traveling with heavy gear for extra 2 hours. Obviously, we will never set foot in there, after this horrible experience.

My partner and I went for the flying trapeze taster. The instructor, Nick, was great; very friendly and professional. He tailored the session to both of our abilities so that each of us had a quality session. At £40 for 2 hours per person it's great value as well. Thanks, Hannah and Not Hannah

Just completed my first set of 1-2-1 aerial silks (2 before lockdown and 4 after). Fantastic experience. The venue is clean and they have measures in place to ensure it's a safe place to practice. I'd definitely recommend.

Me and my sis went along to try flying trapeze as complete beginners. The trainers helped us overcome our fears and 'learn by doing'... very friendly, accessible, encouraging and professional... and FUN! Would 200% do this again, and as someone who is pretty much gym-phobic that means a lot.

I would highly recommend AirCraft Circus! I have only been attending for 2 weeks, and I suck! But I love every moment of it. I feel safe, well instructed, and the facilities are great. I will definitely be spending more time here.
