   Having been recommended Wilkes Tranter when I started my own business in 2018, I can honestly say I haven’t been disappointed. From our initial meeting, their advice and guidance has been invaluable. From VAT, PAYE, and tax returns, and even during the uncertainties during Covid, my business remained in a good position and I felty fully supported in financial aspects which would otherwise not be on my radar. The team are always available when queries arise and I actually look forward my our annual reviews and catching up with the team. My account manager really knows what works for my business.    I'm a small business owner (gas and electrical engineer) who came in for advice on how to structure my business in the hope of setting up a limited company. I was met by a very friendly lady at reception who made me feel very welcome. I spoke to Ian (for an hour and 45 minutes no less) who was very thorough when offering me the exact advice I was after. I had a lot of questions to ask and he was very patient, even though I have a stutter. My experience of meeting two other FCA registered Chartered Accountant Firms on the same day was very different to say the least. After having a read online, I realise now, I was given advice which was either misleading or just plain wrong. If you are a small to medium company looking for some sound advice do not hesitate to go in and have a chat with these guys. I will now be saving a lot of hassle doing paperwork which I hate, and be saving a load of money to boot.
