I am new to having an accountant help me with my tax returns as I am just a Joe Public, not a business or a trader. However, Wow! Chase Accounting have been a revelation, they have been friendly, efficient and supportive from start to finish, the process of completing 2 years of Tax Returns was relatively painless (apart from my having to find 2 years of pay slips, P60's and P45's from my haphazard filing system!) The result? A nice little pay out, but more importantly the feeling of safety and security at having a 'proper' tax return done professionally . . . Priceless! Very friendly people, not pretentious or stuffy and are really interested in most things healthy. They also know what they're doing in relation to accounting, which is handy, as that is what we want. The office is bright, warm and welcoming, although I didn't get a cup of tea. Lol
WHAT A NIGHTMARE.. had to chase up my self assesment because they forgot to do it one year, my morgage broker had to phone me to tell me he had not recieved information for morgage and accountant could not contact me because they said they had no contact number , after being with them for 5 years. This year i recieved a tax rebate and it took 7 weeks to recieve the check from accountant . They told me the cheque was in post to start with , then the cheque bounced over christmas, spoke to inland rev they told me to seek ombusman to help. The lies and excusses were very sad. In the end i had to take time off work to go to office and insist on payment which i recieved that day......why not 7 weeks earlier...hope this review helps....
