My unbranded combi microwave/grill gave up the ghost about 2 months ago. No power, no lights, and despite changing the fuse, nothing. I had never noticed Bromford TV despite being local to them, so I decided to give them a call about my dead appliance. Even though the store opened at 10am (which i found out later), the kind lady of the couple who run the shop, answered my call at 8:30am! She was very polite and didn't rush me. She also made me aware there was a nominal charge of £12 to diagnose the issue. I dropped off the microwave on the same day at around 4pm and was told I would hear back soon. I didn't expect that to be the same day but the gentleman who makes the repairs called me to ask if I wanted to go ahead with a repair cost of £40 to change what he believed was a burnt-out PCB. I agreed to this and received a further call on the same day, informing me that a few other components would require replacement and so the cost would actually be £50. I still felt this was reasonable given a built in unit of the spec I had, was around £130-200 easily. The following day, true to his word, the gentleman called me to say my appliance was now fully operational once again. He tested it in front of me in the shop and I can honestly say it's as good as new. Despite the challenges of an unbranded appliance, these guys were able to source parts and complete a repair within 24 hours. Total efficiency and such honest, humble people. I'll definitely be using them again and sending people their way for any electronics repairs.
I highly recommend this place, I found my 20 year old computer in the garage and it was not working. I brought it to Bromford TV and video and the very knowledgeable and experienced gentleman managed to fix it and get it working again. I had really old family photos on the computer which I was able to retrieve. Will definitely be using his services again and highly recommend to others.
Mr Bhayani repaired my 60inch plasma TV which had that blue colour problem. He sourced an excellent price on the parts and undertook the repair in a timely and professional manner at a fraction of the cost of a new tv which is what i was looking at if he had not helped out. Lovely man as well.
Fixed an issue I had with my Air Purifier within 1 hour. Something was stuck inside and was tricky to open it up. Saved me from spending £100 and buying another one. Excellent service from the very polite couple that run this shop. I took my stereo which had no sound at all and they fixed it, keeping me informed of what was wrong with it and fixing for a very fair price. Easy access and parking right outside the shop.
