   GB Gas (Gary) a really nice genuine guy, fitted a new Spark Generator which by the way I purchased over One year ago, I was just putting up with the intermittent problem of not sparking and just using a gas lighter, cooker is a Rangemaster Classic 90. Time to fix it, Gary to the rescue, not without a small issue, but he got his head around it and hey presto we’re all good in time for Christmas. Well done and highly recommend his services.

   Gary from GB Gas repairs was an absolute pleasure to deal with. After we diagnosed gas leaks from 2 oven thermostat taps on our (pretty old) Rangemaster 5331, we were told by multiple repair companies (including Rangemaster specialist) that the oven was beyond repair as the parts unavailable. After finding a supplier that stocked the parts, I spoke with Gary and he confirmed he could fit them, reconnect the oven, and retest for leaks - all for a very reasonable fixed price. 48 hours after I got the parts delivered, Gary attended and sorted everything out. As the parts were not original, Gary also had to make some minor modifications to make the set up work safely and correctly. He kept me informed throughout, his quality of work was excellent, and his promise of after care was also very reassuring. My old Rangemaster now works like a new oven (hotter and better balanced), which is amazing as other repair companies advised me I would have to scrap it! I cannot recommend GB Gas Cooker and Oven repairs highly enough.

   Gary saved Thanksgiving dinner! Gas oven wouldn’t stay lit. I contacted him late one night and he fixed it the next day. Fair pricing, friendly and professional, and he clearly explained what was wrong and how he fixed it. I’ll absolutely call him again if I ever need a gas engineer.    Faultless service! Gary a) answered the phone the very first time I called b). The problem with our gas oven was diagnosed over the phone and the parts were ordered and c) He came out when he said he would! He also gave me some advice for future cleaning and was pleasant and tidy throughout.    I would really recommend this company, Gary, the fitter came to replace a thermal couple in my top oven which had not worked for years. He was really extremely polite and professional. About 1 month later the thermal couple stopped working again, and Gary came out and replaced the thermocouple again ( this time free of charge) and with all the usually professionalism as the first time he came. It took a few weeks for this to be done but that said I was very pleased with the service I received by this company and would highly recommend them for anyone else. Satisfied customer Reg

   Great service-Gary has been a pleasure to deal with from initial contact to repair. When my elderly father’s oven broke down Gary diagnosed the fault immediately over the telephone, told us where to obtain serial no. to enable him to order the correct part and fitted it promptly, taking the time to explain what he was doing to my father - no mean feat as he’s virtually deaf! Cooker working like new again with minimum of effort, wait and fuss at a fair price. A thoroughly professional, likeable guy, nothing was too much trouble for Gary and can’t recommend him highly enough.
