I took my car to this place 3 months ago with an oil leak. They told me my injector seals were leaking so I agreed to having the work done on both the oil leak and injector seals. When they gave the car back, the car was leaking diesel and creating clouds of smoke. I returned the car and they ‘fixed’ the diesel leak. Ever since I have had a constant smell of diesel. We took the car to be checked somewhere else and we found that 2 injector seals were still leaking; one injector bracket was cracked and before repairs could be done the 4th injector bracket snapped causing a breakdown and clouds of smoke. Do not recommend this place as the garage I have taken it to has told me the injector seals were not installed correctly, the brackets were over tightened causing the brackets to fail and the injector seats were not cleaned properly causing the new seals to fail. I paid £1600 to this garage and now I am paying more. Find somewhere else! Only positive: it’s not leaking oil yet!

No one should ever visit this place for your own good my first MOT. They are not reliable , you cant trust them. After I booked my MOT Little stain on my plat number, it failed. I fix3d it that same day and rebooked. For next three days I have to take uber to work for the three day On that day I supposed to come I canceled my work to be available only for this guys to call me two hour or 1 hour to my appointment to call it. Honestly, do not waste your time with this garage. I wish I hadn’t. The only good thing I can say is they didn’t charge me for their complete lack of work. The garage took my booking on the phone, but when I arrived, they didn’t have it on the books. I arrived on the Friday, and they said they would have a look the following Wednesday. It took multiple attempts to get in contact with them for an update, and each time I’d get: “I’m not in the garage, I’ll ring you back in 10 minutes,” then they wouldn’t call me back. The garage held my vehicle for three weeks and did little to no work on it. I asked for a diagnostic to find out where the engine was leaking from and whether they could fix it. All they could say was, “It’s leaking from everywhere,” and started listing all parts of the engine including the sump and injection pump which are new parts and I told them with when I dropped it off. They said it might be fixable and would cost £2,500. Then they told me they could only complete the work in two weeks and would charge £40!! per day!! to keep the vehicle in the meantime. I decided to take my business elsewhere. When I arrived at 3:30 p.m. to collect it, there were six people hanging around smoking outside the garage, one was sharpening the chainsaw. The car park was overpacked, with tools and parts littered everywhere. The photos on the website show a clean professional garage, what I saw was a scrapyard.

I've had an engine rebuild on another car before so I make a direct comparison and say these guys are a proper professional outfit. The quality of their work is excellent, and they managed to turn around a rebuild on a 26 year old motor that most other places won't touch on a tight timescale. I can't recommend them enough if you need work doing on your car.

Did a great job replacing timing belt and fuel pump belt on my Citroen C6 which many garages wouldn't touch. Good price and great service.

I can't believe how quick they rebuilt my van's engine. New injectors, valve seating, camshaft rectification and full rebuild in less than 3 days all in. That included the balancing if the crankshaft. Spot on guys! You don't get this kind of expertise anymore. 1 year later and Diesel Automotive got better. Now they do electric vehicles! Brought my hybrid Golf for a service and change of battery and they did it without any issues. Thank you!

Congratulations on your professionalism I recommend to all their services, people for whom work is high in virtue. They have the lowest prices in Birmingham, they are professional and of the utmost seriousness. Thanks a lot.

Valentin and team are absolute life savers. After my family vehicle was damaged during a service at a different garage, leaving the vehicle unable to start and being told I required a new engine, I contacted diesel automotive. Valentin told me what he believed was wrong with my car; and not only fixed the problem for me (without a engine replacement!), but was also able to diagnose the reason my car refused to start and rectify the damage caused by the previous mechanic. I honestly couldn't thank them enough. One very happy customer and a happy family.
