Over christmas 2025 my boiler stopped working. Gastek came out, diagnosed the issue. It was time for the boiler to go into permanent retirement, they just couldn't go on any longer. Wasn't really ready for that scenario, but had to respect their wishes and that it was time to say goodbye old friend you served us well. A replacement was sourced through gastek (bearing in mind this is the christmas shut down period) and within 2 days we had a new boiler installed by the gastek engineers. Just in time for the minus temperatures that hit us new years eve 2025. Gastek do take care of you. No matter what time of year it happens to be.

Everything was explained clearly when Phil visited to give me a quote, Phil was great, no pressure and I wasn’t made to feel as if I had to buy, he even told me my radiators did not need replacing, although I was told they would be by a well known boiler fitting company. And he was right. Phil cleaned up as he went, there was no rubbish or debris left anywhere. He even explained, clearly how to use the boiler, time clock and thermostat. He even responded quickly to a couple of texts, yes I have a poor memory. I would definately recommend Gastek 100% if you need your boiler replacing.
