Matt and the team were responsive communicative and delivered high quality work. We are busy and didn't have time to repair or sort a new dishwasher so Matt found one for us and fitted it very neatly, and re-hung a problematic kitchen cabinet door. Top class hughly recommended
We had a problem with our oven door and conteacted the kitchen mechanic via their website. I had a quick phone call reply from them to arrange a visit. Matt arrived on time an diagnosed the problem, orderd the part we needed and arranged a time and date to return to fix. Again, Matt turned up on time and fixed our oven. Price to repair was very resonable. They were a delight to deal with from start to finish and I would definitly use them again.
Our dishwasher started behaving strangely, making alarm noises saying that it had finished the cycle when it hadn't. Then no indicator lights on the control panel, would not reset and the pump kept running when the cycle eventually ended. We turned the power off at the wall socket. After 3 or 4 days we tried the machine again and it operated correctly, however we called The Kitchen Mechanic to come and give the machine a complete check over. Matt came along at exactly the appointment time and after listening to the symptoms gave the machine a thorough check over. I would have no hesitation in calling Matt again should any other appliances develop problems or to recommend him. Thanks.
Matt initially came to look at a faulty dishwasher and came back today to fit a new one. Having seen Matts work and also having spoken to his partner Jacqueline on the phone this a great company. Price paid was as quoted. Excellent workmanship - no mess and did a great job. I can highly recommend.

Matt arrived at the time we had agreed...always a very big first plus point...he diagnosed the problem with my cooker straight away....2nd plus point....he had the replacement parts in his van and was able to fit them straight away....3rd plus point. Cooker renewed and working within an hour!! Excellent Service. Highly recommended.
Rang The Kitchen Mechanic after our washing machine door became locked and we were unable to unlock it at all We were firstly talked through a number of ways to perhaps free the door, all to no avail before making an appointment to come and try and effect a fix. They rang to say they'd a cancellation which we accepted, Matt arrived, a lovely man and tried his hardest to fix the machine, unfortunately on this occasion he couldn't. The machine was 12 years old and it appeared that the circuit board had gone, it wasn't cost effective to repair the machine. They only charged a nominal fee because they couldn't repair the machine. I'd have no hesitation in recommending The Kitchen Mechanic.
Matt attended my Mom's home to repair her Washing Machine. This was repairable and required a replacement. Matt asked for requirements, make and costs prepared to pay. He went away within the hour supplied picture and costs of replacement washing machine for 6&7kg to select from. The machine was delivered, Matt's wife attended to make sure all went well and fitted by Matt the following Tuesday. Would definitely recommend The Kitchen Mechanic to anyone. Thank you very much.
