   Recently had problems with our boiler showing an error and not igniting. After being told by a recommended engineer that we needed a new boiler, we got in touch with James at Hoskins for a second opinion. They found a damaged pipe that had been 'sealed' with silicone for a temporary fix, which they deemed to be unsafe. They replaced the pipe and got us back up and running the same day. Service and repair for under £200, not a bad price compared with buying a new boiler. We met James and 2 of his engineers who were all pleasant, professional and considerate of our property. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending this company and will certainly use them again.

   From the onset in preparing quotes to completion of works James was extremely knowledgeable. We were given different options and at no time felt pressured. Every aspect of the work carried out was explained fully. James and his team turned up to work at the agreed times. They carried out the work with minimal mess and they left our home clean and tidy.    We have used Hoskins Heating 3 times in this last year since we moved into the area based on personal recommendation. I can highly recommend them. They are very competitively priced, do a lovely clean, reliable job. We had an old gas heater removed from our kitchen that was vented outside, James not only filled the hole and made the inside neat and tidy but actually went to the trouble of putting in false mortar marks between where the bricks would have been on the outside of the house and stippled the finish to look like bricks. You have to look really closely to even see where it was now. Excellent work every time. We've had Plumbing repaired and a Boiler service, which was excellent value.

   Absolutely brilliant We contacted Hoskins heating after reading their reviews , James came last Monday to give us a quote to remove an old back boiler and fit a new Bosch boiler , by Thursday all the work had been completed. We can’t thank them enough for fitting us in so quickly as we had been without hot water and heating since the start of the year due to the terrible service from British Gas . James and his team worked quickly and efficiently , clearing everything up before they left . We would recommend them without hesitation.    I used Hoskins to replace my central heating boiler in September 2022 and my immersion heater in December 2022. On both occasions they did not keep me waiting for long after accepting their quotation before carrying out the work. All their engineers are personable, friendly and courteous and treated our house with care. The work done was of the highest standard. All this plus, unlike many tradesmen, they have a superb backup office system which keeps you informed, gives you confidence in them and makes the whole experience very efficient. I have another job for them shortly and would heartily recommend their services.

   It was so easy. They came on time and covered all carpets throughout the house before starting. Worked straight though to finish (apart from a couple of coffee's) and cleaned up after. All packaging was taken away so we had nothing to get rid of. The house was spotless when they went. They also took time to explain the most economic settings. We would not hesitate to recommend.    We have used Hoskins many times over the last few years for new installs, upgrades and repairs as our plumbing is quite old. Every job they have done for us has been completed to an excellent standard. Their communication is excellent and they are always punctual which I’ve found quite rare with some plumbers in the past before we discovered Hoskins. I’d recommend them to anyone who’s looking for a good quality service.
