Avoid at all costs! Replaced the engine in our car in November 2023 at a cost of £6k. Delivered the car back to us and it broke down again after us driving it less than 3 miles. Company will not take any responsibility and we are now trying to claim via small claims court. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Purchased a reconditioned engine at £2,300 After installing it wouldn’t turn over, long story short engine had to come back out and after further investigation the timing was massively out a full 180 degrees and blanking bungs and other critical parts missing, company denied it all then wouldn’t answer my calls or messages. Started court proceedings to recover some of the costs, Avoid any dealings with is business would not trust this company to re-assemble flat-packed furniture let alone engines.
If I could have left zero stars, or even negative then I would have! If you are looking for a company who seem super helpful right up until something goes wrong then these are your guys! "repaired" my car, took longer than originally stated and cost more than originally stated. But fine, it was done and we were happy that the car was back on the road after having what was claimed to be a reconditioned engine fitted. Three weeks later the cambelt snapped. Major pain but at least it was covered under their warranty. Rang them and was told they couldn't look at it for a month! They eventually got it in a but sooner but that is where the hell started. A mixture of lies and just outright ignoring me for two month before I eventually had to have the car collected and taken elsewhere and requested a refund. You guessed it, no refund, even after I had their engine returned to them at my expense and their request. So over £2k paid to them for nothing. Now I have been forced to take them to court, as even though I have evidence trails as long as your arm they denied all knowledge of having my car. Obviously small claims court ruled in my favour and raised a CCJ against the company. Still not enough to make them pay, so now we move to bailiffs. Use this company at your peril!!! Don't say you haven't been warned. If anyone thinks this is made up, I have email and text trails all exported, I have a formal letter from the courts issuing the CCJ!
Engine advertised for £1,900 but because a part in the engine was “not serviceable” it was agreed to £2,100 then 3 days before collection it apparently needed new turbos which was an additional £680 (£2780)and they wouldn’t warranty the engine without it. They sent an invoice over on collection date for £3,280 and now I have no air con, a nocking noise when steering and shakes when started. Should have paid another garage the £2,500 instead
Built me a new engine and turbo for my ranger and replaced the injectors and did the mapping all in under 2 weeks fitted and everything. I saw the engine being built and explained everything. Really good guys and very knowledgeable.highly recommended especially after such horrible experiences with other garages and work. If you need anything done don't even hesitate these are the people.
I'ts perfect service, was bring my car for engine reconditioning and job takes only few days. Guys very friendly and helpfull. Highly recomend this garage if you had any problem.
I had my BMW series 1 changed and I can honestly say it was a Top job from start to finish. The new engine runs like a dream as well.. I highly recommend this garage. Very competitive price as well .
Cheated on money for my van Nasty surprise. My van was there for engine replacement and in the meantime we agreed that they'll buy it of me. After several times promising that last 700 pounds will be paid - it never happened. Not sure about service but be aware of money issues l. Will probably end up in court
We needed a replacement engine for our transit custom local engine specialists were quoting excessive prices and 6-8 week waiting lists BM WORDSLY were recommended by a breaker company is used before the quote was 20% cheaper than any other and work was completed in 4 days vans now running like new with 12k warranty fantastic job these guys are the best
