   If I could choose zero stars then I would! Called glow energy services due to water leaking from boiler. Was charged nearly £500 to replace 2 parts…one costing £19 , the other £35. Although the boiler was working when engineer left, it cut out less than 12 hours later. Contacted the engineer to see if he could come and take a look, was told he wanted another £200 to reattend. Steer clear of this rogue trader, I doubt it’s the first or last time he will rip people off!

   As we have recently moved into the area, We Google a local gas engineer and came across Glow Energy who had very high reviews. Michael listen to our needs and suggested a boiler package for our new home. It was fitted to a high standard in no time. He even took the time to show me and my partner how we can operate it using our smart phones. He left the area tidy and cant thank him enough and it was nice meeting his partner Paula who assisted after she came after her work.

   We contacted Michael to service our boiler. He arrived on time and was very friendly and professional. Turns out he was able to to do another job in our bathroom the same day, it wasn’t a straight forward job but he managed to do it well and efficiently. Would highly recommend using Michael.

   Contacted Michael after googling a well reviewed OFTEC registered engineer. Arrived Sunday as our oil boiler not working which meant me and my young family had no water and heating. He quickly diagnosed that parts were required to fix the problem and he arrived the following day and installed them. I’m happy to say that our oil boiler is back up and working and we now have hot water and heating again in a quick turnaround. Michael was very professional, friendly and left everything really tidy. Highly recommended and will definitely use again in the future.

   I called Michael explaining my boiler was leaking and he came out to check it promptly. I did have to have a new boiler but I cannot recommend Michael and Paula enough! Provided a professional service throughout and great workmanship. He explained what he was doing and how it would be beneficial for me in the long run and the savings i would make theoughtout the year.Michael did a excellent job and I have recommend him to family and friends.

   I wasn't happy with another firm that had left my mum's toilet unusable and being told that he would have to leave it unsafe in order to flush my mums toilet. From this, I got in touch with my insurance company and reported that we know have a new issue which he had created and a poor answer of how this job should be left. After waiting a few days for his report the insurance company spent Mike from Glow Energy, who came and fixed the issue within no time on his first visit. He used no parts and explained what he had done to fix this issue. I was impressed by his attitude of he wouldn't leave until the job was complete. He spent the time to understand and explain why my mum's toilet wasn't flushing which is now perfect so thank you!

   I had a new combi boiler installed in my house in May 2020. Unfortunately, the boiler was installed incorrectly and was fixed to a thin, wooden board that was allowing the draft to come back through the old existing square flue. I've been chasing the original installer and the boiler fitting company for over 7 months now and in that time I had been promised (from the fitting company) that an engineer would arrive to fix the holes in the wall and resolve the draft issue. I have even used up my annual leave only to be let down by various engineers a total of 8 times. Michael arrived from Glow late on a Friday night to assess the works involved. We arranged a convenient time and date for him to come back and carry out the work and to my surprise and happiness, he kept to his word and turned up. His level of determination and attitude to get the job done to a very high standard was great to see. He has inspired confidence in me again that there are honourable, professional tradespeople out there. He did a fantastic job in boarding and plastering around the boiler, covering the holes and addressing draft issue. Thanks ever so much Michael!
