    The dog house had just what I was looking for when I popped in this morning. A sturdy and comfortable harness for my over excited Lab. A quality product that can’t be bought in some of the big high street stores. A lovely independent small business with a friendly, knowledgeable owner and staff.     Picked up some puppy food for my 11 week old labradoor who usually has pets at home wainwright's food salmon and rice for sensitive tummy's. Was recommended doghouse own salmon and sweet Potato, £13 for 2kg ( so more than what pets at home charge for theirs ). Purchased the food and travelled the 3 miles back home to feed my puppy but when pouring the food discovered 4x worms/centipedes in the bowl of food I just poured, tried to call the doghouse no answer, travelled 3 miles back to the shop to find it was closed ( at 4pm ) google advertise it as being open till 5pm ( and so does the shops door window ).. Not happy at all!! £13 down the drain. ** OWNERS BEWARE - I PURCHASED THIS 2KG BAG OF FOOD AT 15:20 AT DOGHOUSE ON 3/10/25.. IF YOU'VE BOUGHT ANY OF THIS FOOD PLEASE CHECK IT BEFORE GIVING IT TO YOUR DOGS/PUPPIES - IT'S THE ONES THAT COME IN THE CLEAR PLASTIC BAGS THEY HAVE ON THEIR SHELVES BEHIND THE COUNTER. ** The worms/centipedes have been identified as black carpet beetles.

    Cute little pet stores. Has supplies for dogs, cats and most small pets. Has a nice selection of fish to purchase as well as canaries, zebra finches and other small birds. They are always polite and helpful.
